Tijuana Aachen — Restaurant in Aachen

I recently visited a Tijuana restaurant and overall, I had a positive experience. The menu had a wide variety of options, ranging from salads to meat dishes, which was impressive. The atmosphere of the restaurant was friendly and welcoming, although it was a bit too dark for my personal preference. Nevertheless, the staff were very attentive and courteous, offering helpful recommendations for dishes and drinks.

Speaking of drinks, the restaurant had an extensive drink menu that catered to various tastes. However, I found the prices for the drinks to be quite expensive. For instance, a 500 ml drink and cocktails cost around 17 euros, which is a bit steep for my liking. Nonetheless, the restaurant had Happy Hours with discounts on many cocktails, indicating that the real price should be lower.

As for the food, I ordered a salad, and it was nothing short of delicious. The ingredients were fresh, and the dressing was flavorful. Overall, the food was well-prepared and satisfying.

In conclusion, the Tijuana restaurant I visited was a great spot for anyone looking for a diverse menu and friendly atmosphere. Great place for cocktails and "European Mexican" food. The food is definitely not extremely authentic Mexican but still very tasty. Even the Vegetarian options are very good which is not that common for Mexican restaurants. In nearly every category of the menu (enchiladas, tacos, wraps, burritos,...) there is at least one option without meat. Many dishes are served with fresh salad which is notably better than side salads at many places. Most vegetarian meals are a little less than 10€. Especially Tuesday evening is great for food as all meals are half price. Furthermore, cocktails are half price until 10 in the evening. In general the whole menu offers good value. There are many tables outside available, inside it's a little bit too dark in my opinion. The staff was friendly and around 7 o'clock we waited less than 15 minutes...

It was a nice idea to have dinner here. The ambiance is quite good. Food is very good and is a lot. We ordered a plate of nachos for 2 people. It was quite a lot. We ordered Burritos and wraps. It was really lot. The prices are a little higher but definitely worth it. The staff was really friendly and spoke good English. Its a nice place to have dinner with friends.
