Deutsches Haus, what a joke. With Deutsch in their name they have no clue about how the real German food tastes like. Let me take you on our non delicious, taste buds torturing Journey of our food we ordered from here.
It was a day off and we just wanted to realx and take a break from cooking and cleaning. We ordered Goulash soup, Schnitzel with Champignons and Aachener Sauer Braten with Brat Kartoffeln.
So First the Goulash, the taste was as if we just tasted sea water. Really really salty, and no other flavour. We had to mix créme fraéche to get the salt level down.
Next the sauerbraten with Brat Kartoffeln ( roasted potatoes) the potatoes were just deep fried like Pommes (french fries ) with no flavour. The sauerbraten had a flavour like diluted soy sauce, not Sauer, not sour like it's supposed to be. The meat tasted like old leather, we had to chew and my wife's jaws started hurting after just one piece.
The schnitzel tasted like it was Frozen and thawed and refried. Lacked any seasoning, taste or texture and burnt on the edges. The mushrooms with it were soggy, unseasoned bitter.
This is the worst food I have eaten in my life. I should have just bought a döner, would have been cheaper and better than what...

But it did start to sink in as we took a look around and realized there was literally only one other group aside from us (note: we came on a Saturday night).
The food took quite a while to arrive, surely over 30mins. Which was confusing considering how empty the restaurant was. The waitress then informed us there was only one cook in the kitchen who was also handling the delivery orders.
As for the food, ours was very bland and the seafood in their Tagliatelle Mamma Mia tasted under-cooked and not very fresh.
The service was...
Read moreAffordable prices. Large menu with lots of options. I found the indian food to be quite good, but everything else to be bland. Tomato soup was too sour, vegetable soup reminded me of frozen vegetables. Sauer Braten was forgettable and not very flavorful. Indian food made the whole experience worthwhile: good flavor, not too spicy, good portion. It is my understanding that the Tiramisu is made in house; its nice. But the other deserts are not.
Not busy; service was fine and it was quiet. View onto the Josef's Kirche was very nice. I guess they played some music from a top100 list? A little strange for a...
