Al Hamra — Restaurant in Berlin

We (a group of six) had a strange experience here.

Pros: Relaxed atmosphere. Lots of space. Music wasn't so loud, so we could hear ourselves speak. Polite waiter.

Cons: We all noticed that the cocktails/longdrinks we ordered were weak, i.e. had not much alcohol. Two of us, for the second round of drinks, switched to wine for this reason (since with wine the alcohol cannot be diluted). One of us told the waiter that the Bloody Mary she ordered seemed to have no alcohol in it; he brought a new Bloody Mary, but which, again, seemed to have no alcohol (and which cost €7.50). When leaving, we told the waiter that the longdrinks/cocktails had little alcohol in them but he was evasive and just said that the barman was feeling sick today. Looking at other reviews here, though, we are not the only people who noticed that the longdrinks at this bar don't have much alcohol. Therefore we won't...

Beautiful and charming place were you can have lots of fun night but chilled ones too, the food is so good that you have to try everything! The atmosphere is chilled and with the low lights and candles makes it even more cosier and welcoming, LGBTQI friendly, this means really open minded personal and no is place were you feel judged for what you are or where you come from, loving and caring personal (something hard to find in Berlin). I had many really fun nights there and I highly recommend it if you are in Pberg! take a look of the old furniture and the extremely comfy seats downstairs, yes...they have an underground floor were you can smoke and on specific days like Sunday’s you can enjoy live music too! Worst behavior towards a customer who is there for pick up. I ordered through food panda and went there for pick up myself. The waiter there asked me to sit down, rudely without even listening to me. 1 hour after ordering my simple wrap, I told them they can keep my order, I don't want it anymore then they ask from where did I order. When they found out its food panda the waiter told me I should have told him before which he was not ready to listen. As a customer from the hood, neither I am going there for dining nor I am going to order ever again. Doesn't matter how your food tastes, if you can't treat all your customers well,...
