Beumer & Lutum — Restaurant in Berlin

I went to this well-rated bakery on Google Maps to have breakfast with my boyfriend who are visiting Berlin for the first time. The bagel and the cinnamon roll we had were okay, but the only waitress who spoke english was extremely rude. She was losing her patience and she grumbled at every question we asked related to the language barrier without helping us in any way to choose the good products for us. I am buffled how rude to kids people can be. The person working shouted at my kid first and then after 10 minutes they kicked us out, saying: " I have tried to be nice"..

Kids were a bit loud, but they weren't going wild either, and no person has the rignt to kick out kids. By the way other clients weren't complaining, only the personell was upset.

Still cannot believe I gave 4€ to that Bagel, which included some ultra-thin slices of cheese and some salad with “brown” edges. I added some spread in it when I got home and it became finally edible. And don’t get me started with their very sad croissants… This is an over priced bakery chain that is polished with a cosy façade: well-branded on the outside, but very disappointing...
