Il Nuovo Primo — Restaurant in Berlin

I came here with a friend for dinner. Having made a prior reservation, I didn’t realize the only available seating was outside, even though it was chilly and rainy… The service was slow and sloppy (for example, the waiter didn’t clean our table until I pointed out to him that it was dirty). The food tasted quite good, although the caprese appetizer could have been bigger, given the price. The pizza and the tagliatelle with salmon were both good. The reason for the 2 star rating is mainly the fact that both my friend and I had stomach problems for 2 days after our dinner at Il Nuovo Primo. We shared all of the dishes, so it’s hard to say exactly which dish it was. I think the food might have actually been fresh, but perhaps it was some bacteria due to lack of hygiene (the bathroom was rather filthy, for instance). In any case, I hope this was just a rare occurrence, but I would probably not risk returning to...

My girlfriend and I visited Il Nuovo Primo last week (14/4/19). We had no reservation but were promptly found a table for 2. The waitstaff were incredibly friendly and helpful - the restaurant has a really cozy vibe. The specials board was full of tasty options so I went for the Iberico pork chop with a side of chard and potatoes (all cooked beautifully and sooo tasty). I booked a table here for a lunch to say goodbye to one of my best friends as he was leaving Europe, and the great service, staff and delicious food made this special moment an outstanding one. Servers and bartenders were friendly and servicial, something you don’t experience often in this city, so is quite refreshing and nice when it happens :) They prepared perfectly the Rammazoti sprits we wished ❤️, served food on time with no mistakes, and made us feel great with a top service! Definitely coming back when I’m craving...
