Bistro Mitte — Restaurant in Berlin

Huge plus: I have never seen a soup this large in a restaurant. I ordered a salad and soup cause I expected a tiny soup but it was actually pretty filling, as well as the salad. Plus also for the tagliatelle with tomato sauce, as it had a lot of sauce which is nice.

We also had the Tatar which was ok but not the best ever. A little disappointing because we expected to get some nice fresh German crusty bread or country bread. However, we only got baguette after asking for some bread.

We went on a Tuesday at around 17:30 and it was completely empty. Only one other table taken.

The first waitress seemed to not speak German very well but we made it work. The second guy however was great. He also told us that we get a 5% discount as we were going to a musical nearby and they apparently have a contract...

I have booked the “Grand brunch", which was advertised as including “Live Carving Station” and “Signature VOX Sushi Selection”.

Instead, only a fixed menu was provided - see picture, of very poor quality - especially the overcooked risotto. Upon my request, I received a very basic sushi plate - see picture.

For 99 euro pp, I definitely expected something better.

The manager claimed they haven't enough customers. In my view, as they took full payment at reservation, they must deliver...

Wir waren heute zu 18:30 im Tizian. Mit großen Erwartungen freuten wir uns auf ein besonderes Essen mit top Service und sehr guter Qualität. Leider war der gesamte Abend enttäuschend. Getränkepreise: 0,5l Bier 8€ ist extrem frech. Vorspeise Antipasti 24€ ( wir dachten dann ist es sicher für 2...die Portion war sehr dürftig und nichts besonderes) Zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptgang wurde weder neu eingedeckt noch die Brotteller, welche wir für die Vorspeise nutzen mussten, da wir keine anderen erhielten, weggeräumt. Das Rinderfilet war Medium bestellt. Es kam sehr well done. Die Beilagen sind so überschaubar dass man locker 2 Hauptgänge essen könnte. Generell dauerte es sehr sehr lange. Nach der Vorspeise waren 85 Minuten rum und wir hatten Hunger! Den sehr guten Service wie im MidtownGrill oder Mark Brandenburg haben wir leider an diesem Abend im Tizian nicht erlebt. Wir wurden dafür auf je 1 Glas Sekt eingeladen nachdem wir bei der Rechnung unsere Kritik geäußert haben. Wir haben den Eindruck dass hier das Management Kosten sparen will da es definitiv zu wenige Mitarbeiter vor Ort waren und alle Restaurants komplett voll waren. Die Küche ist laut Kellner auch für den Roomservice und beide Restaurants zuständig. Es ist nicht akzeptabel uber 90 Minuten bis zum Hauptgang warten zu müssen....
