Great vegan friendly place. I would come back again.
Party of 5, we ordered combinations of sloppy Joe, pulled pork brioche, eggs benedict, fluffy strawberry pancakes, cappuccino, and expresso martini.
Vegan pancakes 🥞: they were fluffy and simply delicious. I like my pancakes a tiny bit salty with bacon 🥓 and then countered with the sweetness of maple syrup. Unfortunately, they offered only salted caramel sauce instead of maple syrup, which make sense for vegan pancakes without bacon, but I ordered it with bacon 🥓 and maple syrup would complemented better. Note, I talked to the staff and provided the feedback, and I am positive that they might offer the option of either in the future 😀. The scorched banana was a nice touch 👌.
Pulled pork: juicy overall (somehow a pork was tiny bit dry too), had an interesting sauce with nice spices, plus cabbage was a nice touch.
Eggs benedict: eggs were cooked perfectly. White set and the yellow runny 💛 👌.
Veggie sloppy joe: it was not sloppy Joe but it tasted nice.
Coffee: bitter ish for my taste. Not sure due to a double shot or coffee beans.
Espresso martini: I liked it for brunch.
Overall, nice place and vibe, vegan friendly that prices things reasonably (e.g., not charging extra for oat milk). Very friendly staff who are looking for feedback to suit their customer. Price location quality ratio 👌 . Note, I decided to score 5 since 4.5 is not an option and good vegan friendly places are a few to come around
I would come back again and give it...
Read moreAmazing iced oat latte (the only excellent one I’ve had, ever) and a delicious chickpea nori sandwich. The owner was super friendly (or maybe it was just the New Zealand accent). They also have an extensive selection of coffee beans from a pretty ethical roaster in Berlin - available to take away in retro style tins - 100% plastic free! 10/10, would recommend.
Would skip the quinoa-carrot salad/fruit iced tea/tofu sandwich if you’re looking for extremely flavour-loaded items. None of them were bad, but their counterparts on the menu just happen...
Read morewhen they opened i was sceptical at first because of gentrification and the "ausverkauf" of berlin - back in neukölln i experienced a lot of arrogant, snobby specialty-cafés but these guys give their everything and im very lucky to call them my neighbors ♡ the coffee roast is not ur typical chocolate-like flavour, it's more refreshing/zingy - the oatmilk-schaum is not the expected velvety oatly kind - it's different and easier on the stomach but boosts ur brain twice...
