Café & Bistro freysinn — Restaurant in Berlin

Well, who would exect such a place in the middle of Wedding. The name alone gave me goose bumps because I love this old language and, most of all, the meaning. Because I am a great lover of freedom and ease. The atmosphere inside is sparkling with creativite simple beauty and the wooden benches and tables give a warm flair. The employees all seem to enjoy their work and I love the fact they don´t stress out when impatient business people come for lunch break in a hurry. This is really not a place to be stressed and you should come free from time pressure when coming around lunch time (between 12h30 and 13h30) The food is incredibly delicious and all home made. The food was nice, great value for price but the service was terrible. We didn't feel welcome at all as we are clearly tourists. The woman who took our order didn't even try to speak slowly in order we could understand the german menu, even though we do understand german, and was very impatient for us to make our choice. When we asked for something to drink, she just pointed at the fridge without any explanation. It was good because we were looking for something in this area, but wouldn't come...

Kaum hatte das “Freysinn” seine Türen letzten Sonntag geöffnet, habe ich mir die Gelegenheit nicht entgehen lassen, diesen Ort in der Stadt auszuprobieren. (Wurde mir schon öfter empfohlen) Und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht! Der doppelte Espresso war einfach hervorragend – kräftig, aromatisch und nicht bitter… genau das, was ich mir von einem wirklich guten Kaffee erhoffe. Auch das Frühstück war eine echte Gaumenfreude, mit frischen Zutaten und liebevoll zubereitet. Ich hatte die Avocado Stulle mit einem extra Spiegelei und ich habe sogar Tabasco bekommen :) !

Besonders erwähnenswert ist die unglaublich nette und humorvolle Kellnerin, die meinen Besuch zu einem rundum gelungenen Erlebnis gemacht hat. Mit ihrer freundlichen Art hat sie dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns sofort willkommen und wohlgefühlt habe.

Das “Freysinn” ist definitiv ein Ort, den ich jedem ans Herz legen kann, der Wert auf exzellenten Kaffee, leckeres Frühstück und einen entspannten Start in den Tag legt. Ich freue mich schon darauf, bald wieder...
