I wanted to like this because Korean corndogs are normally delicious but for the price I was expecting more.
Firstly, in a line of several other food trucks, this is pretty much the only one that doesn’t have a seating area. This is not an easy to eat or mess free food, so good luck finding somewhere to go and sit down to eat.
Secondly, I had the sweet potato mozzarella corndog and not only did it take really long, they served me burnt food. It was covered in sauce so I didn’t realize until I had taken a few bites. It was extremely bitter and most of the sweet potato was charred black. Perhaps that’s why my food took so long, because it was getting burned?
Since it was hard to find somewhere to sit I wasn’t even near enough to the food truck to go complain about it.
Also: they don’t accept card, it’s cash only, which is quite normal for Germany though extremely inconvenient.
It’s a shame because I was ready to give 5 stars as so many others have, but I just couldn’t. I would be open to...
Read moreI ate my first Korean Corndog in Tokyo, Japan and did not really get the hype. When I saw on Instagram that it had arrived in Berlin as well, I decided to give it another go. Well, what can I say; It was very yum and I really liked it. I took the following option that cost 6€ : half-half (mozzarella + halal sausage), fried potato cube covering, sugar and the homemade Korean hot sauce + the homemade mayo. Sugar?! Yes, this apparently how the Koreans originally prefer it - or so I was told by the very nice staff - and I figures I'd give it a go. Understandably an option that divides opinions, but I actually liked it. It gives some extra, interesting flavour dimensions. You can also easily eat it without the sugar and still have a very yum snack. It's a big, very filling snack by the way. Esp. if you take the mozzarella option, which I would recommend. So much cheesy goodness! Anyways, good stuff! I will certainly come...
Read moreI have to give a bad comment because yesterday I went to eat at corninjas for the first time, I really wanted to go and eat, it happened that I bought a corn and I was waiting for 20 minutes when suddenly the power went out at the food truck, it began to it was raining, they told us that they were taking a long time to fix the problem, so I was with my daughter and I told them that I would return in about an hour to leave my daughter at home and when I returned about an hour later and they gave me the corn that they had done a long time ago. I asked them if they had made it a long time ago and they said yes, that is, they gave me a cold, hard corn that did not have the flavor of what I imagine it should have tasted. I told them if this was serious and if it still tasted good and they said yes. Obviously it was not like that and I only tried the corn what was already going to be known, that it did not taste...
