Terrazza Portofino — Restaurant in Berlin

Terazza Portofino has a very convenient location: it is very close to the train station but is also very calm and covered by trees, which makes it very cozy and relaxing. I chose asparagus from the seasonal menu, and my friend took a beef. Unfortunately, both of the dishes lacked spices and any kind of flavour. The asparagus and potatoes were directly cooked in the oven with parmesan cheese, with no salt, pepper and other spices:( thus I did not really enjoy the food overall. I'm always skeptical about getting Italian food in countries other than Italy, especially in Germany I wouldn't have expected it to be very authentic. But I was wrong! Hubby and I were here for dinner several weeks ago. Enjoyed sitting out on the patio and it's nice that they have the giant umbrellas because it was a little misty the night we were there. Went here in the afternoon of New years eve because I was looking for some quality pizza and had read all the good Google reviews about this restaurant. The restaurant lived up to all my expectations and more. The pizza was very well made and tasted amazing. Good selection of different dishes and beverages. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere with dim lights and an Italian ambience. The staff members treated us very well and one of the guys even gave us a free shot of Limoncello. You really put in the effort to take good care of your customers and I will definitely come back again for some high quality...
