Einstein Kaffee — Restaurant in Berlin

I’ve been a regular at Einstein Café Bikini Berlin for years, but my experience last night was beyond disappointing and disrespectful. Around 10 PM, my friend and I asked to pay, and the server a young white male completely mishandled the situation.

The same server had already messed up my order earlier, insisting i this is what I ordered before bringing me the correct item. When it came time to pay, my total was €5.50. I handed him a €5 bill and he put it in the wallet he was holding and I searched in my coin bag for €0.50. Once I found it and handed it over, he just stood there with his hand out, claiming I had only given him €0.50. I was baffled because I had very clearly handed him the €5 note before grabbing the coins. My friend witnessed the entire exchange.

What followed was a frustrating and embarrassing back-and-forth. I repeatedly told him I had already given him the €5, but he continued to insist I hadn’t. He even pulled all the €5 notes out of his wallet and asked me to identify which one was mine, how is that even reasonable when they all look the same? He then told me to check my wallet, as if I wasn’t already certain of how much money I had and what I had spent.

This went on for several minutes, with the server essentially accusing me of lying about paying. I’ve never encountered such unprofessional and accusatory behavior in all the years I’ve been coming here. It’s shocking and unacceptable that a server’s lack of focus and poor attitude led to me being disrespected and...

Раньше я часто посещала эту кофейню и была вполне довольна сервисом и обслуживанием. Девушки которые работали раньше были очень вежливы и добры. Но в последнее время, после смены персонала, ситуация кардинально изменилась. Работники стали настолько отмороженными и хамскими, что визит в этот заведение превратился в настоящий кошмар. Когда я заходила, чтобы заказать напиток, сотрудники не только не обратили на меня внимания, но и выразили свое недовольство моим присутствием. Заказывая напиток, сотрудники относятся ко мне так, как будто делают мне одолжение. Девочки, если у вас нет сил работать, то лучше сменить вид занятости. Потому что такое отношение просто неприемлемо для заведения общественного питания. Кроме того, качество еды и десертов сильно упало. Последний раз мне достался десерт, который явно не был свежим. В общем, вместо того чтобы расслабиться после тяжелого дня, я ощущала, что мне вскоре плюнут в стакан. Раньше я с удовольствием приходил сюда, но теперь я больше не рекомендую эту кофейню никому. 🇺🇸 I used to visit this café frequently and was quite satisfied with the service and hospitality. The girls who used to work here before were very polite and friendly. However, lately, after the staff change, the situation has drastically changed. The employees have become so unfriendly and rude that visiting this establishment has turned into a real nightmare. When I entered to order a drink, the staff not only ignored me but also expressed their displeasure with my presence. When ordering a drink, the staff treat me as if they are doing me a favor. Girls, if you don't have the energy to work, it's better to find another job. Such behavior is simply unacceptable for a public food service establishment. Furthermore, the quality of food and desserts has significantly declined. The last time I had a dessert, it was clearly not fresh. Instead of relaxing after a hard day's work, I felt like I would soon be spit in the face. I used to enjoy coming here, but now I no longer recommend this café to anyone. If you value your time and expect good service, it's better to go somewhere else. 26.09.2024

🇩🇪 Früher habe ich dieses Café oft besucht und war zufrieden mit dem Service und der Bedienung. Die Mädchen, die früher dort gearbeitet haben, waren sehr höflich und freundlich. Aber in letzter Zeit hat sich die Situation drastisch geändert, nachdem das Personal gewechselt wurde. Die Mitarbeiter sind so unfreundlich und unhöflich geworden, dass ein Besuch in diesem Lokal zu einem wahren Albtraum geworden ist. Als ich hereinkam, um einen Drink zu bestellen, beachteten die Mitarbeiter mich nicht nur nicht, sondern drückten auch ihre Unzufriedenheit über meine Anwesenheit aus. Wenn ich einen Drink bestelle, behandeln mich die Mitarbeiterinnen, als würden sie mir einen Gefallen tun. Mädels, wenn ihr keine Lust habt zu arbeiten, dann sucht euch bitte einen anderen Job. Denn solch ein Verhalten ist einfach inakzeptabel für ein öffentliches Gastronomieunternehmen. Zusätzlich hat die Qualität des Essens und der Desserts stark nachgelassen. Das letzte Mal bekam ich ein Dessert, das eindeutig nicht frisch war. Anstatt mich nach einem langen Arbeitstag zu entspannen, hatte ich das Gefühl, dass mir bald ins Gesicht gespuckt wird. Früher kam ich gerne hierher, aber jetzt kann ich dieses Café niemandem mehr empfehlen. Wenn Sie Ihre Zeit schätzen und guten Service erwarten, gehen Sie lieber an einen anderen...

Worst customer service ever ... I ordered 2 espressos with milk. I think it is really easy to understand, am I right? So I got 2 espressos with ice without milk... After I told to the 2 waiters that I got a wrong coffee, they started to shout with me that I am wrong, they are the right ... After 10 mins they give me 2 hot espresso without milk of course, still shouted with me. I know that we are in Germany so I had to order in German language but I think this is the place where the customers' own language is English. 2 espressos (which is usually hot) is not so hard to understand. Black point to staff and the management… Guys, if you cannot be polite, or communicate with the customers just leave this job and go to a warehouse or something like that where you DON'T HAVE TO SPEAK WITH PEOPLE, because nobody Taught you. Waiters: 1. Bearded guy, who cannot calculate until 2 Other guy who has glasses - he shouted THEY HAVE TO BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY! Dear Boss, I hope you read it! I will Advertise this bad Behavior on every platforms....
