Four stars for the genuine ambiance, seems to be a lovely place for locals to get together, particularly since you can bring your own food.
As a microbrewery, they seem to have popular beers, usually with four on tap. So don't expect to find an esoteric selection of beers, but instead good quality pilsners, dunkel and wits (seemingly perfect to drink in copious amounts). Besides these three, they normally have one seasonal option as well.
You'll additionally fin a selection of small batch whisky and liqueurs (all local, some made by them and some not, was quite unclear!). Finally, they also make their own apple juice, from several different varieties.
Good prices, and can most definitely vouch for the Flammkuchen which are home made, super crispy and delicious (and come to the table fast!)
Overall, a quirky place that will be very fun and laid back with a group. While I wasn't amazed by the beers, still worth 4 stars since I would likely come back if I was sticking around longer. Not really worth the detour if you're a first time visitor to...
Read moreAfter I came through the door I was greeted with a sarcastic: "is there a way to help you?"
I tried to be polite, after this clear provocation and just said that I would like a table.

This very fine and helpful service made this short lived stay at Eschenbräu one of the highlights of my trip to Berlin.
If you are lucky enough to get a table please go there and enjoy the show provided by the monkeys they enlisted as barcomedians.
At least they are proud of the service they provide. It is always nice to see people that enjoy providing us with excellent...

Their brews are exceptional, with the Panke Gold standing out prominently. It strikes a harmonious balance between body, color, and bitterness, and it's a testament to their brewing prowess.
The staff here are the heart and soul of Eschenbräu. Their genuine friendliness and dedication elevate the entire experience, making each visit truly special.
A slight drawback is the limited food menu, with flammkuchen being the sole offering. However, it's a dish they've mastered. It's flavorful, satisfying, and offers good value for your money.
In summary, Eschenbräu is a gem in Wedding, offering an unparalleled beer experience with a...
