Espresso House — Restaurant in Berlin

No music - excellent for me as I truly detest listening to someone else's private preferences. It's, mainly, a no-smile service - but always polite and respectful. It has a quality in its own, a sort of "Switzerland" take on service in a branded coffee shop. The coffee and offerings are middle-of-the road. It is a well executed site for the business type. No loud conversations (because, I believe, no ... music). I personally look at this as a comfortable place to either think, wait for someone or a call, and the pricing is more attune to renting a quiet, anonymous, space with the possibility of a drink for 20mns or more. A very cozy and comfortable cafe with spacious indoor area. I was going to a Starbucks today, but I was attracted by this lovely and cozy cafe before I arrived the Starbucks. It offers various tables and sits inside which satisfy different ppl’s needs. Laptops are also welcomed here which means you can work, study and meet with friends or customers there. I ordered salted caramel latte today, it’s good with nice service. I stay there from 2pm to 6 pm, actually it’s not crowded and noisy, so I guess it’s good for work and study is you want, as they offer a very big table for you. You can see from my pics below. We went there on a hot summer day because it's centrally located, modern and it's air conditioned.

The pace is big inside. The seats are spread around. Atmoshphere is chill and quiet. There are also seats outside.

It has a bit of Starbucks vibes. If you're looking for a hip thirdwave coffee shop, this is not the place.

I would say the only downside for me was the prices. It's expensive.
