Fish&Chips Hauptbahnhof Berlin — Restaurant in Berlin

Me and a couple of friends (Asians) went here today and got a fish and chips box and a fishburger. The food was mediocre at best and the service was terrible. We weren’t allowed to choose our own sauce for our fish and chips while other German customers could. Because we felt a bit discriminated we decided to take away our food. Unfortunately there was no seatings available at the time at the station, so we decided to eat in rather than take away eventually (we never left the restaurant though, and a change of mind happens ever so often). When we wanted to take a seat at a table in the restaurant we got yelled at (from across the restaurant) to take away our food for no apparent reason. No explanation was given and we were basically forced our way out while we just got food from the place. To sum it all up: A really bad experience and we will never...

Asian here(if it matters). Received good service. Came in at ard 12.45pm, took the last table left. Perhaps it's because there wasn't a queue, but nonetheless, the service was great and you can pay using visa.

If you chose to do takeout but decided to eat in, just know that you have to throw the takeout box outside.

Food could be better. We ordered a mega mix box (choose 10 pieces of whatever you like) and a fish and chips. It was quick, refried and understandable. But I'd appreciate if they could pat the oil out more.

Tldr; fast and good service, you can pay with a card and the food gets kinda greasy...

Horrible service. This place deserves a zero star rating. We ordered a takeout but decided to consume the food within its premise when we realised we still had some time before our train arrives. One of the staff shouted at us to throw the takeout bag outside the restaurant (ie. the bins beside the escalators). How would we know? It would had suffice if he said it nicely but no; he shouted at the top of his voice rudely from behind his service counter and muttered something to his colleagues in German all the while giving us a condescending look. Avoid this place...
