Delicious brunch at Le Bon- so glad we decided to wait around and did not opt for some other place. When the food arrived, I immediately know this is not just another Berlin brunch place that’s run by part-time students. It’s actual food, properly prepared by a chef who put some thought into it. The shashuka was well made and the crispy chickpeas was a brilliant touch to it. The Le Bon scrambled eggs were silky, creamy - just them alone was a treat. The sourdough toast was definitely good quality bread (from Sironi) - the only minor criticism is that the oil used on the toast smelled a little old and used. We both added hash brown on the side - points added for making it mille feuille style but unfortunately it was slightly too greasy. The pancakes were also fantastic - light, fluffy, tasted fresh - went extremely well with the dollops of cream, compote, caramel and nutella. Even the coffee we ordered was good :) I would also highlight that even though the cafe was busy, the staff were all friendly, responsive and calm. Honestly this place puts many hipster brunch places in the...

I'm disappointed. Maybe overrated and I put too high expectations.

First, I had never waited so unfairly long in a restaurant. We were there around the opening time and we could smoothly have a seat. Then staffs went back and forth, didn't pass by us, didn't glance at us, and we waited quite long till the order. Then it took an hour until we finally got drinks, while the other tables, which took seats almost at the same time, had already started eating. Then after another 20 minutes, the foods were served, that's when the other tables have left and the other customers came in. Any of the waiters didn't apologize for that. They were more or less friendly but seemed too busy to pay attention to customers. The foods were fine. Good and reasonable price, but even without the negative first impression, I found the foods were not worth eating by being in line so long. I'm sure there are similar cafes without a line or such crazy...

We were really excited to eat here after reading all the great reviews, but sadly, the experience was awful. There was a mix-up with our order—the table next to us got our food, and only my wife ended up with her meal. Mistakes happen, and that's understandable, but the waiter's response made things worse. When I asked how long it would take to get our meals (we were with our two kids), he replied with an attitude, saying he didn't know, as if my question was unreasonable. I asked if he could at least give me an estimate since my wife already had her food, and the kids were running out of patience, he just said it was up to the kitchen and out of his control. His attitude was ridiculous. Frustrated, I decided to cancel our order, paid for my wife's meal, and left. Unfortunately, no one else on the staff tried to resolve or deescalate the situation, which showed they really...

Le Bon in Berlin is a must-visit for anyone who loves a great brunch! Their granola pancakes are hands-down the best in town—fluffy, perfectly cooked, and served with just the right balance of sweetness from the berries (they also added banana, nutella, and honey). If you’re a fan of eggs, their eggs Benedict with bacon is also a winner, combining rich, creamy hollandaise with crispy, flavorful bacon on top of perfectly poached eggs. The whole menu has a fresh, well-curated feel, and the atmosphere at Le Bon is warm and inviting, with a stylish, laid-back vibe that’s perfect for a weekend brunch. Friendly service and attention to detail make the experience even better. Le Bon is definitely one of Berlin’s brunch spots you can’t miss!
