This is the first review l am posting on Google since l couldn't help myself - if a single person finds this helpful it will be worth it. I am a gourmet and l love the dinning scene in this city, and as someone who also lived in this area (Kreuzkölln) for 4.5 years l thought - this place is always full, they have 4.8 rating on Google, and even an online booking system - we should definitely give it a try. Boy was l wrong. First - the whole service is chaotic and borderline rude. The times we were approached by a waiter was when - (1) they wanted our chairs because our friends were a bit late; (2) they asked if we ordered more drinks since our table looked empty (and we were at that point waiting for more than half an hour for our drinks to arrive) and (3) by the end of the evening when we were told to be more quiet when AGAIN we were waiting for more than half an hour to get our bill to actually pay! The tapas plate we ordered for 3 people was barely enough for one, and they charge 24!! euros for it (8 euros per person) for a slice of 3 types of cheese and ham - they said "Let us know if you need more bread" - so that I can what? Fill myself up enough with bread so that the plate seems filling enough? Honestly, if anyone enjoys this type of cuisine go to La Cantine d'Augusta, La Käserie, or even Kanaan, Lisboa Bar am Boxi or any other amazing vegetarian / vegan tapas restaurant in Berlin - you will get much more value (and food) for your money. Last but not least, really disappointed at what restaurants are upto at this point. We are all thrilled you are opened again, and completely understand that you want to earn as much money as possible before the next lockdown and if you just actually improve your service instead of allowing 150 people to be UNDERserved in one evening - then I think we will all be happier for it. And no, please don't reply to this message and make me amend my review - I will not be coming back and nor will any...
Read moreWaltzed in here by chance. Pleased by the presence of natural wines we took a table in the spacious (temporary) terrace, cordoned off on the street. The staff was very cheerful and showed at least a little knowledge about their wines, so it felt right. It took a while for the bottle and glasses to arrive, but it was sunny out so we didn’t really mind. It seems a popular place, judging by the speed at which the rest of the empty tables filled up. I didn’t try the food so the stars are just for my...
Read moreWe booked a table for 5 and got a spot in the secret-garden gazebo which is nice because it’s outdoors but not in the middle of the busy street. It’s def not a traditional restaurant for full dinner, but if you are looking for a cozy place to have some drinks and gorgeous food you found it. Every bite is delicious and you can feel the quality of the produce. Tasty cheeses, the bread & focaccia are amazing and the staff was super friendly and we had some good laughs. Pricing is absolutely ok....
