Unfortunately I did not have a good experience at this place. Once I got there I was immediately seated but I had to wait almost 45minutes to be attended. And the worst thing was that people who got in after me were being attended and served before me. The waiter didn’t make eye contact with me when I tried to get his attention to order. Truly felt unwelcomed and like they were doing me a favor by serving me. I didn’t even order everything I wanted because at that point I was super hungry and just wanted to eat something. I waited another 30minutes for 8 rolls of sushi which were average and definitely not worth the whole thing. He did apologize for the long wait of the food but not for serving other people first or ignoring me when I wanted to order. I don’t know if it was because I was alone or not German speaker but it was a very uncomfortable experience overall. I was nothing but nice and polite. I won’t be back when I’m back in Berlin which is sad because vegan Asian food is my favorite. The decor of the place is very nice and cozy and it was a dinner that I was expecting for 2 nights but sadly it was not a good experience, especially as a girl alone. Also had to wait quite a bit to pay and didn’t even waited for change because I just...

This restaurant is one of these treasures typical for Berlin, but sometimes hard to find. The menu has only a few choices, but that is not bad in my opinion. Everything we ordered and tasted was exquisitely prepared. The seaweed salad tasted great, refreshing and tangy. The curry was comfortably hot and delicious, the Mekong noodles were fruity. As desert the mango creme was the sweetest, milk rice with cinnamon foreshadowed Christmas and the fruit salad was probably the healthiest. All the food, as far as we could tell, was vegan. They will leave out any ingredient You might not like or be allergic to. The amount of food per dish is moderate, so if You are really hungry this place will not fill You up. But I don't like leaving food on the plate and if there are still cracks to fill, there is always the desert option, so this fits my preferences very well. There is an interesting option on the menu for those who cannot decide what to eat: Let the chef decide for You. The location itself is quaint. The tables and chairs a wild assortment of styles and colours, the plates, glasses and mugs as well. Definitely a place I will visit again. Consider booking a table in advance, the...

Vegan Asian eatery, woman-owned and minority-owned. Instead of serving traditional Vietnamese food, the lady boss / head chef drew inspiration from Vietnam and surrounding areas, with a focus on fusion whole-food plant-based dishes. Loved how flavourful and wholesome the food was! The Ga Ya Ya Curry came with red wholegrain rice drenched in rich coconut and peanut curry, topped with homemade sliced ‘meat’ made from gluten-free oats flakes. The Mekong Noodles consisted of springy mung bean noodles naturally coloured with herbs and spices (e.g., yellow turmeric and red beetroot), piled high with fresh seasonal vegetables alongside chilli and lime dressing. The Burmese-style Lentil Soup was thick and tasty too. Staff members were so warm and kind and generous, serving a surprise salad and moist vegan banana bread, and even giving my mum a stalk of rose. Easily one of my favourite memories in Berlin! Thank you Mama Chang and Herr Hau. Located near...

This small place was exquisitely magical. Each dish was an art piece and the menu even had an option of ‘whatever the chef wanted’. I always love a place that gives the chef more creative freedom. The decoration felt like I was bathing in a Thai spa. I ordered something like that and the salad that was served blew me away. There was passion fruit, apricot, sweet, mint, and sour all plated a wonderful cold. Their twist on the pad thai (I believe) was full of different kinds of beans and kernels, vibrant but a bit too chaotic. The curry wasn’t spicy but a nice creamy hug. And the dessert was a sorbet with fresh fruit, each one placed like it had its own throne. Also complimentary crisp and sweet slices of watermelon were served.
