I’ve visited three rooms here so far — Magic Alley, Madhouse 101, and Admiral Kingdom — and overall, my experience has been quite mixed.
Magic Alley was my first room. The overall layout was impressive, but we encountered some issues with the puzzles. One door was already open when we entered, revealing nothing inside. We ended up wasting a lot of time trying to figure it out, only to be told later by our game master that it shouldn't have been open at the time. Additionally, one of the puzzles relied on understanding German, which made it difficult for non-German speakers to progress smoothly.
Madhouse 101 was simply amazing. The puzzles were logical, challenging, and well thought out. Our game master — I believe her name was Sonia — struck the perfect balance of staying in character and providing subtle guidance without breaking the immersion.
Admiral Kingdom had a decent atmosphere, but the experience was let down by a few issues. The game master seemed disinterested and had a limited command of English, which made it difficult to understand the hints. On top of that, one of the devices malfunctioned, requiring the game master to enter the room to fix it — breaking the flow and immersion of the game.
Overall Impression: If the game master takes care of the room and gets involved, you’ll likely have a great time. But if they’re disengaged or inattentive, the experience...
Read moreThis is one of my favourite places in Berlin! The first time, I went there with my colleagues and we played Secret Prison - I enjoyed it so much that I decided to come back a few weeks later with my boyfriend, we played Alien Invasion and Mad House. Each game is exciting in its own unique way, the settings are meticulously crafted and the puzzles are variegated and super appealing! In case that wasn't clear enough, I highly recommend it!
Yesterday we finally tried Biggs - after playing Secret Prison, Alien Invasion and Mad House we can definitely say that Biggs - The Legacy is your best game so far! The lack of locks and combinations, the new types of riddles and the use of the five senses makes it extremely engaging and challenging! Please make more rooms like this one, and more rooms in general as well, since there aren't so many left to play for...
Read moreBeen there for exitVR Huxley wth friends. Had a great and amazing time. The CAR Game uses XMG Schenker pc Backpacks that do not make you sweat too much, aren't too heavy and work pretty good. The vr headset and controller used is the HTC Vive working also very stable. The Game Huxley is very well made, features a couple of very nice puzzles in combination with a bit of first person platforming. You can basically solve everything alone or in a group. Difficulty level is quite low but it is still a huge fun. Also you really have a huge movement circle/area, still I accidentally hit the wall with a motion controller. The staff is super friendly and in case you are stuck they will help you.
I'm looking forward to a new VR game and also to trying a normal escape...
