One of the saddest restaurant experiences I've had in Berlin. The food here was too salty and the meat was dry/over cooked, let alone not really Mexican. The dish we ordered (in picture) was supposed to contain some authentic mexican foods but was overpowered by all the wrong ingredients and was in general just soggy/didn't taste fresh. The prices were also way too high for what you get. The only nice things here were the service and the free margarita shots! :(

Ordered food for delivery (half of us got vegetarian food, half of us got chicken). It tastes like a Mexican-Indian fusion - it was edible, but it wasn't great, and that wasn't what we were going for. We got meals that said they came with guacamole, and instead we got a green salsa that smelled and tasted like curry (see picture). They seem to actually have guacamole, because my sister got some with the nachos she ordered. I wouldn't come here again.

Friendly staff. Laughably NOT Mexican food. I mean, it has curry in the dishes! Enchiladas? Curry! Tacos? Curry! Beef Quesadilla? Curry?!

Ingredients were unfortunately not fresh (very stale flour tortillas for instance). The hot sauce / salsa just wasn't that... whatever it is tastes like warm pizza sauce. Like, it'd be okay over pasta, maybe(?). The guac tasted off. And was mixed with a very German salad... and had a single stale tortilla chip in the guac. Sour cream wasn't on par with what the tiny grocery store has down the street. Really, it's just weird that this place exists.

The food is edible--but light-years from incredible-- unless you want mediocre fusion food that doesn't even resemble anything from Mexico go somewhere else.

There are thousands of Indian fusion restaurants in Berlin. Just about all of them are better. This isn't advertised as "Indian Fusion", but I don't know what else to call it. I feel sad for Prenzlaur Berg residents who may think this is what Mexican food tastes like. Poor guys!

In their defense, there doesn't seem to be any real Mexican food spots in this international city of more than 3 million people. So, there's an opportunity for anyone who knows how to run a Mexican kitchen and source even half-fresh ingredients.

Three stars for the server who was alright, but maybe half of one star for the food. Needless to say, I...

This restaurant was strange, nice atmosphere but cold bar staff upon entry, no-one seated us but we got a seat and all good. No English spoken by the staff but why would there be, it's in Germany. The server seemed pretty attentive with what little german I know.

The problem with this place is that the food is sub-par and the menu prices extortionate and dishonest. We were given an English menu which made no mention of mwst (VAT), it was however added ON TOP of the already high prices (€15 for a small portion of steal fajita and 3 coaster sized tortillas). If we had known the menu prices excluded mwst we would have went elsewhere as our menu for 2 small starters, 2 cocktails and 2 mains exceed €60 (we were also charged €4 for two 0.2cl glasses of water.)

We felt insanely ripped off and usually if i have a bad experience with a restaurant I attribute it to the staff having a bad day and everyone has those. This however was a straight swindling, bad food, opaque business practice and way too...

How is this place rated 4.5? We ordered a mix plate of starters. Which was basically frozen stuff bought from a supermarket and thrown in to fry and burn. And it cost around 18 euros. Then I ordered a salmon which was cooked well but was covered by a lemon sauce which was fatty and overpowered the taste salmon. Served with boiled potatoes with a sprinkle of paprika on top. 18 euros My friend ordered steak fajitas which surprisingly came in a soupy sauce. 25 euros. I just can't fathom how this place is rated 4.5. Do people eating there have no idea what tex-mex/Mexican food should taste like? Oh and then they had this waiter who was over imposing himself. So much so that when we were ready to pay, he just directly asked "10% tip, yeah?" Even if I am happy with the service and you ask me that directly, there's no way you are getting...
