What a lovely evening we had! The restaurant has a beautiful modern yet relaxing interior, totally couldn’t tell when you pass by from the outside. We had the menu plus cheese plate with the wine paring, and we are glad about the choice. Chose this restaurant because of the newly Michelin star listing, and it definitely deserves the star. The flavor was overall balanced, and with some playful twists. At the amuse bouche, the freshness of cucumber with its marination made an interesting start. Then it went on with vegetables, fish and beef. And what a nice wagyu, the meat was literally melting at your tongue, and the fat was balanced with the acid from the ponzu and kimchi (although here I would say from my personal taste the kimchi could have been fermented a bit longer to lose its grassy/planty raw taste). Final dessert was not too sweet or heavy and a nice close to the main dinner. Funny that it seems Germans serve cheese plate after the dessert, but we enjoyed the choice of the cheese. Beside the food, the wine paring was phenomenal, the sommelier was nice to explain the details about the wines from their production, tasting palate and matching of the food. Most of the wines were German and we were surprised about their tastes. In summary we were satisfied with the wonderful dinner. One small suggestion, during the online booking, there was an area you could put “your reason” of the dinner reservation, and I put “birthday dinner”. Not sure if the restaurant had seen this information, and if there were a small gesture, even like a greeting of “happy birthday” would make us feel even more special.

Foods were exceptional, and while there are already so many great reviews here, what truly surprised us was the alcohol-free pairing! We visited on a Monday night and didn’t feel like drinking alcohol, so we tried the alkoholfreie Begleitung ✨and it was absolutely wonderful, matching the food perfectly.👍 The first glass (jasmine tea + basil + forest honey) was light, slightly sweet and paired beautifully with the cucumber dish, the jasmine aroma made it complete. The biggest surprise for us was the herbal tea with smoked garlic and cherry! who would have thought it would go so well with duck liver? 🫶🏻💕 Other highlights were Genmaicha tea with orgeat and pepper as well as Hojicha with mushroom essence, both outstanding. We’ve never experienced non-alcoholic pairings on this level before, highly recommended if you want to discover a whole new way of enjoying food!

Amazing restaurant in Berlin - Worth a try especially with the wine-pairing, which is one of the best that I have tried.

Short overview: Food: * Location: ** Service: * Wine-Pairing: *

Overall: *

We had a reservation for their 6 course menu with snacks, and started the evening with a glass of bobbles and ended with a cup of coffee (decaf is also available)

We where seated at around 19:00 and got asked if we would like to start the evening with the bobbles - which I can only recommend.

and then the dinner began, all dishes were amazing and looked stunning and the wine-pairing went really well to the food. And thus I have had a lot of dinners with wine-Pairing this one is in the top of the best once - the white and red wines just complimented the food and I don't know how, but they must have been able to read my mind as I was just wishing for a sauterne for the dessert - The wish got granted ;)

The staffs enthusiasm about the food and wine was amazing and our main waitress ability to switch between 3 languages between 3 tables close to each other was amazing to watch.

The prices is more than very fair especially considering that we got 7 glasses of wine, coffee and 6 courses + snacks and sweets for a duration of 4-5 hours

Conclusion: If you are looking for an amazing place to eat dinner in Berlin and are willing to spend around 180€ per person, than this is the place to go to. My biggest recommendations for the place

Best of luck to the...

I always say restaurants are always about more than just food, they are an experience. From the second you walk in the door you will be greeted warmly (both fluent english and german which helps when your german is rusty). The interior is minimal but cosy and there is always a nice atmosphere that is created by all the staff.

The food itself is very interesting. The organise all the plates into starter like sizes and you can eat as much or as little as you like. They have preset tasting menu recommendations (which you will save money on) but i recommend picking your own as I found 3 plates to be enough and 4 would be too much for me.

The plates are all individual and show great love and care from the kitchen. The flavours are wide and expansive while still remaining to be inline with each other.

I ate here two nights in a row and plan to visit a couple more times during my trip in Berlin.

The wine list is also large and very well...
