Kattelbach — Restaurant in Berlin

You could eat worse...but definitely also better. Sorry to say that. The pasta with meat sauce was a little to salty for a child meal (and it tasted a little like sheep,u should probably mention that,if that's the case). The Spätzle were alright,but u can get better ones, even in Kreuzberg. The best was the bread we got as an appetizer with olive oil and vinegar 😅 In total it was ok,but I wouldn't recommend this place if u look for really delicious food. The service was nice. But u can see they r not really prepared to have children coming in. No small cutlery, no chair ect..or maybe they just didn't offer it,unless u ask for it,what I didn't. Maybe that's a point the restaurant can think of,to make it more attractive to walk in with kids,as it is around the corner of Lausitzer Platz. But maybe it's on purpose to keep annoying...

We went here for breakfast. The portion sizes were large; I ordered the English breakfast which to be honest, wasn't very English. It was sausage, bacon, scrambled egg (with leek?!) and salad on the side. An English breakfast would consist of bacon, sausage, fried egg, hash browns, baked beans, mushrooms, tomato, black pudding etc. However, the scrambled egg was very nice. The sausages were ok but german-style rather than English. Service ok but food took a long time to arrive, considering there wasn't...

ACHTUNG LEBENSGEFAHR!!!! Warum diese Überschrift? Hier zu meinem Erlebnis. Meine Mutter 67 Jahre Blutdruck Probleme hat sich erlaubt vor dem Café sich hinzusetzen weil es ihr nicht so gut ging (was für eine Frechheit). Daraufhin rante die freundlichste Kellnerin Berlins zu meiner Mutter und sagte ihr, aufstehen sie darf hier nicht sitzen oder sie muss bezahlen!!!!! Auf die Anfrage unserer Seite was das sein soll? Haben sie den überhaupt kein Verständnis für kranke Menschen oder haben sie ein Problem damit das unsere Mutter ein Kopftuch trägt? Bekamen wir so gut wie keine Antwort zurück eher ein anschreien eher ein weggehen! Die freundlichste Kellnerin Berlins hat uns einfach gesagt wir möchten sie in Ruhe lassen! Warum ich es eben mit dem Kopftuch schrieb hat einen Grund weil 10 min später ein Obdachloser sich ohne Probleme ohne zu bezahlen sich auf den selben Stuhl gesetzt hat. Würde ja fast sagen die Kellnerin war ziemlich rassistisch aber nein das machen wir mal nicht. Wie schon gesagt ACHTUNG LEBENSGEFAHR... Nicht das ihnen was passiert im Café und man schmeißt sie raus anstatt den Notarzt zu rufen! Oder es lag wirklich...
