KEIT Schöneberg — Restaurant in Berlin

I used to live a few doors down from Keit on Goltzstrasse. Besides the ridiculously delicious bread, the store is merchandised in a minimalist design of neutral colors that appeals to my senses. Sadly I moved across town, so now I make special trips over for the toast bread, baguettes, & Körnerbrot. Always worth the trip! You might think that KEIT is just another hipster bakery in Berlin and actually you are right. It is. However the upside with hipsterish things is mostly the quality and accessibility. Indeed all breads are handcrafted with products in Demeter quality, handled with care... and are absolutely tasty. And for the accessibility: they are accepting cards without problems. Best. Bread. EVER! We were in Schönberg and a lady on the street told us it was special. Indeed it was some of the most spectacular bread we have ever tasted. The crust is deeply caramelised, the crumb is perfectly open and tender, and the aroma is unbelievable. The roggenbrot is dark and complex with lovely mellow tones.
