Read moreIf I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I’ve been here twice, and both times were a complete disaster. The owner is unbelievably rude, unprofessional, and treats people with zero respect.
The first time, we stepped out for 10 minutes and were told we couldn’t re-enter because it was “full” (which it clearly wasn’t). The second time, he made us wait outside for more than an hour, forced us to buy drinks even while standing outside, and kept lying about reservations while letting other groups walk in without issue. When we finally got in, he pressured us to keep buying drinks, refused song requests, and eventually kicked us out for no reason while we were literally just smoking cigarettes and talking then told us we were “banned.”
According to his staff, the real issue was that we weren’t drinking alcohol, only cola and sprite. Imagine that being discriminated against for not ordering alcohol. On top of that, I witnessed him shove away a homeless person aggressively and tell customers not to give him money.
This bar is run by someone who is rude, dishonest, and discriminatory. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at any bar. Avoid this place at all costs. there are plenty of better spots in the city where you’ll be treated with...
Read moreHi! Just wanted to give some constructive feedback:
Sadly, my last experience was disappointing. At around 2AM, I went outside to get some fresh air (this is a small, crowded bar). I let the man at the door know I’d be coming back in, apparently the owner. I still had friends inside, and my personal belongings.
When I came back, he didn't let me in, and instead of a basic level of courtesy, he chose to start shouting: “If you want to be outside, you stay outside! If you want to be inside, stay inside!”
I have no issue with rules or closing times. What I do expect, however, is respect. I don’t think it’s too much to ask not to be yelled at like a child.
I told him directly that, if nothing else, customers deserve to be treated with more respect. There are many lovely places in Berlin (including many nightclubs) where the service is kind, professional, and welcoming. This is for sure no longer one of them for me.
I live in Berlin and know how it works. A bouncer has the authority to say no, while being firm, but respectful. People with presence don't feel the need to yell. It was a small bar, and somehow the attitude was louder than most recognized venues. Saying no is fine. Shouting at...
