Ordered a Prenzelburger Beef Style with Cheese. Not only did they forget the cheese (ok, that is not such a bummer, can be added quickly) - but what upset me: the „beef style“ pattie looked not-at-all beef style, was miniature vs the bun (disappeared somewhere in the middle), much too thick, the entire thing looked more more like a freakin „Allmann Frikadelle with Bread“. I asked why they could not flatten that piece and they said „it is delivered to us that way“ - well, either „mistake by design“ (and nobody spends brain capacity to adjust order specifications) or team in the parlour not with the capacity to apply a bit flattening iron ... — Walked away, and will certainly not return. I was there trying to get some food after a really mentally exhausting day, when in the middle of ordering (in German), the server randomly stopped and said 'you come from India right' as if that was somehow relevant to my order. I'm not Indian, and didn't make any kind of conversation that would have opened up the opportunity for him to ask me that, and after a long day, I was not in the mood to deal with it. Might be worth educating the staff about not assuming ethnicities, as well as how many countries there are in the world where people have varying shades of brown skin. Just a good burger with onion rings on the side. It was juicy, dirty and just perfectly grilled. The burger bun was also very nice. And being located just around the corner of Kurfürstendamm, it’s a nice hideout to enjoy a burger. The chilled drinks were also a treat after a long day of walking around Berlin.
