Disappointing Restaurant Experience

We visited the restaurant hoping for a pleasant evening, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of our expectations. The service started off poorly when the waiter struggled to take our drink order. He seemed stressed and rushed through the order, which resulted in us getting the wrong drinks.

When we finally managed to order our food, the waiter continued to appear stressed. The food was just okay – we ordered a pasta dish and a risotto – but the poor service dampened the overall experience. After the main course, we were asked if we wanted dessert, to which we said yes. We ordered two simple desserts, but after 20 minutes of waiting, we still hadn’t received them. We decided to cancel the desserts and asked for the bill. This led to an unnecessary argument with the waiter, but eventually, they agreed.

To our frustration, it took an additional 30 minutes to get the bill, and when it finally arrived, they also brought the desserts we had already canceled. We refused the desserts and once again demanded the bill without them included. Eventually, it was sorted out, but the entire situation was unnecessarily complicated and highly frustrating.

On top of this, we were seated at a table where dish carts were frequently wheeled between the tables, adding to the discomfort of the experience.

All in all, the visit was a major disappointment, especially considering the chaotic service and long waiting time. Spending nearly 50 minutes not being served a simple dessert is completely...

After 4 years I'm more outrageus than the day I left this restaurant. So I'm back to add some photo evidences that I was there and to let everyone know that instead improving the service quality they hired a lawyer to remove those "bad" reviews. I received and email demanding me to either remove my review or prove I was there. After 4 years? Really? Sounds like joke, but isn't.

So here is what I remember.... June 2018, a hot sunny day... a waitress... who also speaked russian, but we chose to go with our broken German or English. We were treated as if they were doing us a favour by letting dine there. Waited really long for our order to arrive, no one was showing up to we could check why. We were frustrated. Our attempts to find out when the food will arrive were cut short in a tone of voice we didn't like for sure.

Maybe things have changed a lot since 2018 and food arrives on time now. Maybe.. but judging on how the business tries to "improve" things only assures that they don't much care about customers at first place. I value the treatment the most. So as an ex-customer was mistreated twice. I can't lower my initial 1 star review any further.

Original Review: Never been waiting for a food so much long. On my question how long does it generally take to cook a salmon (just to make sure they sure they didn't forget my order) I was told that my wife ordered soup so mine will come once they serve main course. Our friend who lives in Berlin recommended that we try this place out. We called early in the morning to book, and we were able to time a table for two at 9pm. So we went there and after we sat it took them a while to get us the menus and finally after the got us the menus it was only in german although we requested english menus, but they said they don’t have english menus they just have english menu. So we asked the waiter to help us ordering because obviously we don’t know german and we cant read the menu, she was very rude and her reply was sorry I cant help you I cant translate the whole menu for you, we were like we are not asking for you to translate anything just help us ordering whats your best seller and do you recommended and we highlighted to her that we don’t eat neither pork nor we can have anything that was cooked or contains any alcohol, she was very unhelpful so we ask her what would she recommenced we do to order she was sorry I cant help you, we were like so should we leave now or what? She was ya if you to leave you can leave if you want to stay you can stay! So the overall interaction was very bad, we ended up translating the menu on google instant translate, and we ended up ordering the truffle pizza and along with a seafood pasta and a salmon salad.
