This place is not your regular Berlin Bar. This place is a small, super cozy french wine bar where service is friendly and the food tastes just if you were in the middle of France eating home cooked food! The moment you walk in this bar you feel comfy and welcomed, the smell is just amazing and the candle lights create a romantic atmosphere. Service is very knowledgeable about the wines and just by telling them what type of wine I feel like having (cuz I don't really know much about the wines haha) they give me a perfect recommendation for the night. Love the beef Tartare! Try sitting in the window on the high chairs, enjoying the french wine and food while watching the busy Prenzlauer Berg outside doing their things. Einfach rundum zufrieden!

Ich war bereits in einigen französischen Bistrots und Restaurants in Berlin. Und bin selbst seit Jahren in der Berliner Gastronomie tätig. La Buvette hat mich vollstens überzeugt!

Eine herzliche, ehrliche und warmherzige Begrüßung. Direkte Empfehlung der Tageskarte, bzw Gericht des Tages.

Wir haben das 3-Gang-Menü bestellt, ein Upgrade zu den Muscheln war kein Problem. Aperitif zum Anfang, eine tolle Weinempfehlung danach und zum Dessert noch einmal einen schönen Dessertwein empfohlen bekommen. Obendrein noch ein tolles Digestif.

Als Vorspeisen die Fois Gras und das Tartar, welche beide, angesichts des Preises, von der Menge MEHR als ausreichend waren. Geschmacklich ebenfalls auf den Punkt.

Zwischendurch immer aufmerksamer Service, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Brot wurde angeboten, leere Gläser entfernt und Wein und Wasser stets nachgeschenkt.

Hauptgänge waren die Muscheln und das große Steak, jeweils mit Pommes. Alles ganz toll abgestimmt. Auf dem Steak war die Sauce sehr schmackhaft ohne zu salzig zu sein. Pur war sie fast zu neutral, in Kombination mit den super knusprigen, hausgemachten Pommes und dem leckeren Steak allerdings perfekt abgestimmt! Auch wenn das Steak Medium ein ganz klein wenig zu durch war, ist das keineswegs einen Punktabzug wert. Ich empfehle deswegen Medium Rare.

Wir haben in einem Kommentar gelesen, die Käseauswahl der Käseplatte sei zu schwach. Dem kann ich gar nicht zustimmen. Man bekommt, gerade im 3-Gang-Menü für nicht mal 30€, eine ganz klassische Auswahl aus drei Käsesorten, direkt aus Frankreich. Besonders für den Preis des Menüs passt diese als Dessert super rein und auch die Menge im Gesamtkonzept ist perfekt.

Im Großen und Ganzen war das Erlebnis großartig. Ich denke, gerade für Gäste, die die französische Küche gerade neu für sich entdecken, gibt es fast keinen besseren Ort. Natürlich bekommt man in manch anderem Restaurant eine größere Auswahl an Käse, Steaks oder unnötigem Kitsch. Die Qualität bei diesem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mit solch einem angenehmen Sevice ist für mich allerdings unschlagbar.

Ich würde sofort wiederkommen und jederzeit meine Freunde mit gutem Gewissen hierher...
