Minty's Fresh Food Bar — Restaurant in Berlin

We had a really disappointing experience here. To be fair, the food was decent. However, the service completely ruined it for us. The restaurant was very busy, so we understood there would be a wait and we were a pretty big group (with a reservation, which we showed when arriving. Something did go wrong with the reservation but the restaurant managed to still seated us). But after 55 minutes with no food and our drinks long finished, my friend politely went to ask about the delay, which we were not to annoyed about since we were quite a big group.

Unfortunately, the response from one of the women on staff was shockingly rude. She seemed visibly annoyed by the inquiry. A few minutes later, when the food finally arrived (around 1:00 pm, we had been seated at 11:30), her behavior became even more aggressive.

Things escalated further when my friend asked her to calm down after she nearly slammed a plate down in front of someone. She then accused us of lying about how long we had waited and started arguing with us at the table.

All in all, the attitude and hostility we experienced completely overshadowed what could have been a nice brunch. We won’t be coming back.

After the reply I though I would have to clarify some things, all the other people were very nice, except the lady. We would have never even mentioned this if it was not for the very aggressive way that we were treated. The restaurant says that it was a 30 min that is...

I went for brunch at Minty's yesterday. We arrived when it opened (10 a.m.) and ordered about 10-15 minutes later. After 40-45 minutes of waiting, seeing that everyone around us (who had arrived after us) had been served or was in the process of being served, we asked what was going on with our order. We'd apparently been forgotten... The waiters were friendly and responsive, but it didn't leave a great impression. When they came to clear the table, they asked us if we were satisfied, and I explained that in fact, we had waited about 40-45 minutes before being served. The person apologised, but nothing more. For such a long wait, we would have expected some sort of commercial gesture, perhaps being offered a little something extra. That would have been appreciated. The food itself was good and the portion OK (not too small but not very big either). Rather expensive for what you get, but you also pay for the atmosphere and the fact that it's a rather "posh" and touristy area. Given the negative experience we had, I...

Minty’s offers a wide variety of healthy and filling breakfast / lunch classics, many which are completely vegan or vegetarian.

The restaurant itself is very welcoming with natural light, wooden tables and laid back atmosphere. It’s also an order-at-the-counter kind of place.

If you’re visiting with a party larger than 4 people or with kids, I would suggest reserving in advance, otherwise it is possible to simply pop by!
