Miss Pho Restaurant — Restaurant in Berlin

Very rude staff. When I arrived and ordered I pointed at a menu and ordered. When I went to pay they said 20 euro minimum on card, then processed to pull out a paper menu with a small fine print.

I carefully explained to the man that I only have a digital apple pay and no physical card so its my only mode of payment. He then asked if I had paypal which I did not. I explain that I need to catch a flight and I have only one way to pay and thats with my digital card on apple pay. He offered me no other solution so in the end I said okay well if you cant accept my payment of $12.90 you will need to charge me 20 euro. They went ahead and charged me 22 euro instead of 20 and then were happy for me to walk out. I said dont you think its atleast fare you give me some money in cash as you made me pay 20 euro and my meal cost me 12.90.. (found out it was charged 22 euro when i checked my bank)

End of the day they were not considerate of my situation as a customer, they made no effort to find a solution and that I had let them know I was in a hurry to catch a flight.

Summary: This was my first meal in Berlin, so I was not used to the size of the portions: looking at the prices I thought portions would be small, so I ordered a soup, a sushi roll (large size) and a main course (noodles). I usually eat plenty but this stuffed me properly. Very good value for money.

Taste wise I have reall nothing to complain about, quite the opposite, I was extremely happy with the intensity, flavour profile and well rounded of the recipes. I had the soup: delicate and rich in nutritious fragrance with very fresh ingredients Sushi tempura roll (shrimp avocado mango vegan cream cheese): this really took me aback, I was positively stunned! Rice noodles on fried & marinated tofu with a lemon grass sauce, crunchy peanuts and fresh raw veggies: absolutely delicious, rightfully seasoned and spicy, left no wishes unfulfilled (the sauce is in the bottom, plenty of it)

I wish they had a place like this in Frankfurt, I’d go...

Got there with a lot of expectations, accompanied by family members who recently dined there and was very pleased with this place. Ordered 4 main courses by pointing out their numbers in the menu. Mine was supposed to have both tofu and seiten. Got my dish and I was noticing that there was no tofu nor Seiten in the plate. Asked the waiter to make sure we got the right dish and he took my plate in front of us and started digging inside searching for the missing ingredients. He was very pleased to find what he thought to be the Seiten, which of course was not there, I asked where the tofu is, so he said it was probably the wrong dish and that is what we ordered. Once we understood that "service" was out of the building, we asked for the right dish again. Of course we was charged for both..... I would put my step there...
