Went there for lunch last month. There was only one waitor(chef?) preparing the takoyaki but not many guests. I got seated and waited for the menu but he never came. I went to him and he told me to scan the QR code and order online(yes i am sure he said ORDER online). I scanned it and it was kind of a registration thing during corona. My Internet was not working well so it took me quite a long time trying to find the menu but it turned out to be only a registration app. So i went to him again to ask if there is a menu he said oh its on the wall. Fine. I waited for another 15 minutes for him to come bcuz he seems busy and i didnt want to interrupt him but again he never came. So I went to him again. FINALLY i ordered the takoyaki and a chicken menu. The takoyaki seemed to be not well cooked. The inside had a mayonnaise kind of texture which is weird. The Menu includes chicken and 4 cold veggi side dishes. Even though i was STARVING, the food did not impress me at all. So it took me more than 30 minutes to just order the food and he NEVER came to me. A German lady came later, told immediately to scan the code, also waited for several minutes and asked for the menu, the chef came to her and waited for her to order. I'm not saying the chef was rude or anything, he was quite friendly. But i was just...

Great and very authentic Japanese restaurant that offers different items than the usual sushi places in Berlin: Takoyaki, chicken and tofu dishes, Nabe (vegetarian pot stew) and desserts - everything made fresh in-house and full of the typical umami flavors found in the local restaurant streets in Japan. Especially the desserts such as mochi (sticky rice cake) filled with matcha ice cream will make the trip to Charlottenburg worthwhile! There's no alcohol on offer, as they don't have an alcohol licence (yet), but the tea selection is excellent. The owner-chef is very nice, but he's doing all the cooking by himself, so prepare for some wait time if the restaurant is busy. All around, a great option if you want to try something Japanese other than sushi in Berlin without breaking the bank (main+dessert+tea=...

This place won me over for life. Found a table inside and the atmosphere was super nice, everybody was having a good time, people who work here were moving super fast serving everyone but at the same time nothing was done in a hurry. Super good vibes. Then the food. Omg, the food. Best I've ever had in Berlin and definitely best cooked salmon I've ever had anywhere else, I didn't even know salmon could taste like that. I had the Dinner set and the portion was huge and included the main dish and several smaller ones and the waiter explained me what they were, which was nice because I wouldn't have known otherwise. Totally recommend this place - came here kinda sad, instantly felt better because of the warm atmosphere. And I had an...

Stopped by this cozy venue with girlfriends. Was really looking forward to authentic Japanese. The menu consists more of home cooked dishes such as curry don, oyako don, some udons etc… so do not walk in expecting sushi. We started off with the 6 piece takoyaki and some other cold dishes. Takoyaki is a common street food in Japan. It was decent and tasted very good and authentic. Unfortunately, our Dons were just okay. My friend took the eggplant don and I the chazuke. Overall, service was okay and it was served in a timely manner but food taste was just not that great except for the takoyaki.
