A true Berlin classic at Savignyplatz. Zwiebelfisch has that authentic retro charm â posters, postcards, and international banknotes on the walls give it a very unique character. Itâs not fancy, but thatâs exactly the point â a relaxed spot where you can have a beer, a glass of wine, or a late-night snack.
The atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious, perfect for meeting friends or just people-watching at Savignyplatz. The big plus: opening hours that stretch well into the night, making it one of the rare places in Berlin where you can always find a drink after midnight.

Because no money is coming in the cash box just from one drink." Actually we wanted to stay longer and order something else, but after hearing this we both wanted to leave this place. I asked just as a joke "How much longer are we allowed to stay?", but then she said "10 minutes". And indeed 10 minutes later, without calling her, she was next to us waiting for the money. Unbelievable. Too bad, because the bar has a nice atmosphere, but the service...
