Congratulations on the new opening, this is our new favourite place! Great food selection for both meat eaters (meat selection looked excellent quality and lovingly prepared) and vegetarian options. The meal I had speaks for itself in the picture - I find that some falafel can be dry, but this was the perfect consistency and it arrived quickly. We all commented about the unique combo of flavours brought together with the falafel, halloumi, hummus, sauce, salad and oh my those pickles! Really enjoyed the freshly cooked Lebanese cuisine here. The Mushakal dish I tried was very flavorful thanks to the excellent use of spices. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. There was a small mixup with our order but they were apologetic and quickly fixed it, even taking back the extra food at no charge. The only thing that could be improved is the speed of service. Overall a great spot for tasty Lebanese food in a cozy setting with kind service. Would definitely come back and recommend...

Eigentlich 3.5 Sterne, aber ich runde hier großzügig auf. Als jemand der hier schon ein sehr oft essen gegangen ist, kann ich die anderen überschwänglichen Rezensionen nicht nachvollziehen.

Der Laden ist „in Ordnung“ im besten Sinne, mehr aber auch nicht. Man muss das mal im Kontext sehen. 20 Minuten westlich haben wir mit die besten Libanesen der Stadt, 20 Minuten nördlich gibt es mit die besten Schawarma der Stadt. Direkt daneben ist einer der beliebtesten arabischen Läden der Stadt. Zu Mosaic gehen ein paar Anwohner hier und die Leute, die hier arbeiten und Mittagspause haben. Beide Gruppen haben in ihrem Leben wahrscheinlich noch nie richtig gute Kafta oder Falafel gegessen.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis von Mosaic ist ok, aber was bekommt man auf so einem Teller? Keinen frischen Reis mit Pinienkernen, sondern Tiefkühlpommes und Coleslaw. Das Fleisch ist in Ordnung und schmeckt, aber hat nicht die besonderen Grillaromen, die man erwartet. Irgendwie habe ich das Gefühl, dass Mosaic viel mehr bieten könnte, man aber das nötigste macht, da viele es einfach nicht besser kennen und es in der Gegend in dem Bereich (noch) keine ernsthafte Konkurrenz gibt, da das Restaurant nebenan preislich eine andere Klientel anspricht.

Insgesamt ist Mosaic nicht schlecht und man kann lecker essen, aber wenn man paar Minuten Zeit hat, sollte man mit dem Bus rüber nach Alt-Moabit und wird kulinarisch sehr...
