EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, AVOID. I spent over an hour in this bar and then had a bag stolen. Staff were uncaring and pointed to a “watch out for pickpockets” sign almost hidden next to the bar when I was simply asking about cameras and if they had been keeping an eye on/ seen anything. This clearly happens a lot in this, quite frankly, disgusting bar - the police themselves also said they have had many incidents with this place. Apart from the violating experience, the bar was untidy and tables were sticky, and staff were drinking on shift (likely adding to their lack of interest in helping customers). The bathrooms are also very unsafe for women, men were skipping bathroom queues where women were, going into them and banging on the doors to shout at women to “hurry up” as if they were entirely entitled to any bathroom whenever they want it. Read moreThis place is a metaphor for late capitalism. We're squeezed, poorer, facing enormous challenges that we are in no way at fault for causing them but we are responsible for fixing them with the very little power that we can take from a system that is bent on disempowering us and YET, YET we still know how to have fun, make the best out of it and like, LIVE! It's a crammed spot, where everyone is accepted, there's cheap beer, and a youthful glow that an rub off even on this old bitter chap. Respect to you and keep on fighting...

Additionally, this is a smoking bar, you will smell like smoke. That said, it's an amazing area to hang out with like-minded people after work. It's also very easy to meet new people and hang out.
Small groups can be easily accommodated, but the place might be too crowded in the evening hours for groups larger than six people. With that said, I never struggled to sit somewhere, even if I shared a booth with a stranger.
I can strongly recommend the place to mingle and to kick...
