Excellence in magnificence! Right, Ladies and Gentlemen - I lived for years in beautiful Monte di Procida, close to bella Napoli, thus have a certain idea how Italian cuisine should taste. Here, at Osteria L'Isola, I found exactly that and much more of it. Beautifully done, team Osteria L'Isola. Before the Osteria took over there was also an "Italian" restaurant (Bellomonte or something in reference to Schöneberg), which was certainly nothing to shout about and not worth your time. Lame food, no spices, pizza-heavy. Osteria L'Isola could not be more different: rich tastes in multiple layers with each ingredient (see pictures) prepared for its maximum lucullic output. A heavenly journey of the best the Italian kitchen has to offer - and just 70 metres from my front door. Thank you so much, Osteria L'Isola - we will meet again! Love it there!

Hands-down the best pasta I ever had! We were in the area and a bit suspicious because of all the high ratings, but after our visit we can only confirm. The spaghetti alla carbonara was out of this world, perfectly cooked and seasoned, topped with the crispy guanciale. We wanted to order the ravioli with truffle, but they were sold out. The staff was so kind, they offered to prepare us truffle pasta, which was not on the menu and again tasted unbelievable. Incredibly rich and full of umami. The portions are big and service is as good as it gets. I think of this pasta everyday and would stop by more often if I could. Props to the whole team!!! 10/10

Located in a bit more quiet part of Schönberg, which adds to the atmosphere and lets you focus on the taste and surroundings. Getting pizzas and beer for 2 people for only 37 euro is a great deal and makes it a must visit for the more budget travellers. But don't think that a good deal makes the quality go down, it was like a true Italian experience and makes me wish for more restaurants like this throughout all countries. I know we will visit this place once more next time we are in Berlin and I can wholeheartedly recommend this place for the locals to the tourists.

Absolutely amazing! One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food is beyond praise — incredibly delicious, with fresh ingredients, and every dish feels like something out of a culinary fairy tale. The pasta especially stood out — rich, flavorful, and so aromatic it was impossible to stop eating!

I also want to highlight the service: the waitress was incredibly sweet and welcoming, always with a smile, and the waiter was friendly, attentive, and made us feel like we were visiting old friends.

The overall atmosphere was warm and positive — cozy, pleasant, and truly Italian. I’ll gladly come back again and will definitely recommend this place to...

This is my first time ever in Europe with my family. We wanted to try an Italian restaurant but not too far from where we are staying. I would say we were very lucky! At first I was a bit skeptical because most of the reviews were positive, but as far as we are concerned, I can only confirm. Elegant but not fussy atmosphere, with waiters who kept joking with my children who know a few words of Italian (we come from the United States and I have italian ancestors). The food was amazing: tasty dishes and at a reasonable price. My only regret is that we have to leave in a few days and we want to try other experiences, otherwise I would have returned....
