Le Bretagne — Restaurant in Berlin

When I try a french bakery, I usually try croissants they made first. Anyone can sell croissants but not anyone can make good croissants. Croissant: I guess they just bake the commercial pre-baked croissant products since the layers inside of the croissant were not kept in a fresh form and it was very oily. Coffee: The taste of coffee beans were totally disaster for me and other companions, we concluded that the coffee tasted just like the one from convenience store/Späti. Tarts: The quality of tarts were at average Service: experienced rude and unfriendly service. It seemed like the staff was in bad mood since the staff kept frowning the face when we were ordering just coffee and croissants.(even though we did not ask for something special... ) Price: considering the quality that I just reviewed above, no need to mention about the price, no matter how much it costs, it is overpriced for this place.

Conclusion:...

I would give 0 stars if I could. The restaurants reserves parking space on the street with “tables”. Instead of properly paying a parking spot for deliveries with the authorities they put tables on the street as if we were in Mexico. We were asked to move our car, so obviously we left. The women even yelled after me that I should drink my coffee somewhere else :D I didn’t do anything to her, just asked her kindly to in the future Reserve the parking space officially via the Straßenverkehrsamt instead of putting tables there.

While we were inside the tables were dirty and I overheard one conversation where a customer sat down at a reserved table (as of 10 am), it was 9:30 am. The service women yelled at the customer that she should dare to leave the table dirty so she would have to clean it again. What type of way is that to speak...

The apple-like tart is perfect however the lemon tart was too eggy and the chocolate tart was too bitter to eat.

Second time: the éclair was pretty good, could be my second favorite. The cream is velvety smooth and tastes like rich vanilla beans. However the raspberry cake was too sweet and the chocolaty nutty bottom doesn't go well with the rest of the layers.

Third time: la pomme verte is quite good, it has a lemony taste that goes well with the apple vanilla mousse inside 🍏. Les 3 chocolats was good as well, balanced nutty chocolaty caramel like taste between the layers.

Fourth time: Halloween special cake. I enjoyed it ♥️ it was quite sweet but the crunchy crispy biscuit in the bottom was...
