Papaya Thai — Restaurant in Berlin

Unfortunately, we did not even get to test the food at Papaya Thai. When we arrived, we approached two waitresses. They gave us a glance but continued to chat with each other. After a while one left and the other assigned us the last vacant table. We went to sit down and a third waitress came by to wipe the table. I really appreciate the concept of the open kitchen – while you wait, you can watch the cooks prepare your dish right in front of you. The whole process is well organized. The food is excellent, with the Tom Yam and shrimp curry standing out as highlights. The presentation is also quite appealing. Highly recommended! The only small drawback is that the chairs aren’t the most comfortable, so it’s not a place to linger for long. The "Eat & Go" idea works...

Extremely rude staff, kindly ask the chef what kind of dish is cooking because was smelling good and he looked at me, ignore and I gently asked again thinking he might not understand or heard…He roll his eyes and walked away! When I asked another staff member why is so ignorant she say, that’s not his job …definitely lots of room for service improvement and attitude doesn’t have any room in hospitality...
