I had a very frustrating experience at Parker today. The concept—a shared food court space where you can order from different restaurants at once—sounds great in theory, but the execution was chaotic and confusing.
When we arrived, it was unclear whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be helped. We asked the pizza chef, who told us to take a seat and that a waiter would come. After waiting for about 15 minutes with no menu or staff approaching us, someone from a different restaurant offered a sample, which was a kind gesture—but still, no one came to take our order.
We eventually had to flag someone down to ask if we were supposed to get menus. They said they’d send a waiter, but that also took time. To make things worse, we were told afterward that we were supposed to enter from the “front door,” even though we followed the Google Maps directions to the Standard Pizza place and came in through a side entrance. There were no signs indicating a preferred entrance, and no one redirected us when we came in.
We ordered beef curry from Djiwa and a New York-style pizza from Standard Pizza. The curry portion was very small—just three pieces of beef, served like a cafeteria dish. The taste was good though. The pizza arrived around 10 minutes later, by which time we had already finished the curry. Thankfully we were sharing, or one of us would have been left waiting and hungry.
The service was seriously lacking—disorganized and understaffed. If you’re coming here as a group and ordering from multiple places, prepare to eat separately or have your food go cold while you wait.
Parker could be a nice concept, but right now, it needs better signage, more staff, and serious service coordination. Really...
Read more👎👎👎Our office is near, so we came many times here in the past 2 years. Food is mediocre and superficial: sounds fancy, looks good but small portion and tastes ordinary. Once we ordered Mushroom risotto with sliced beef for lunch, my colleague had it fine but mine was too salty. Told the waitress, who told another waiter and they gave me a confused look. Got my risotto replaced, but with a lesser portion and under-seasoned.
Staff is also rude and slow, with horrible attitudes. Once, we had to wait 20mins for the bill. Then at another lunch, we went to the front to pay because we waited for a while, and the older woman waitress said in a harsh tone "Please wait for YOUR waitress to give you the bill". And the last time we were there, we politely waited for a table because it was full, staff was sarcastic & told us to find our own place (we asked politely with a smile and he exactly said "well, why don't you ask all these people here if you can share a table with them"). So why have a "Please wait to be seated" stand when you don't plan to seat your customers? 🤔🙄
There’s a reason why we call this place F* Bowles...
Read moreI came to this place on Wednesday evening and experienced a really bad service. first I was really disappointed by the menu ... when I checked pictures on Google I could see many different dishes, but once there, we had only the choice between pizzas and one salad... :( then the staff was really unprofessional, disorganized and unfriendly. they walked by but did not ask if we wanted to order. We asked for 'stilles Wasser' and they brought 'Sprudelwasser'... finally we wanted to ask the bill, the waitress ignored us completely, preferring cleaning the table nearby than checking if clients needed sth... when the bill finally arrived, we were waiting for the waitress to pay, but she never came or even looked at us... we ended up going to the bar to pay. I could understand if it was a busy evening, but it was wednesday evening, with only a few people there... for the price you pay, you expect a much better service. I was planning to come back but I definitively...
