Normally I get schnitzel whenever possible because that's my favorite German dish, but I must say, the spätzle here is giving that a run for its money! We biked here after a sunny afternoon at Tempelhofer Feld and needed some nourishment. The waitress was really nice and gave us a spot by the window to cool down. She helped us with suggestions and questions and we quickly had drinks and meals in front of us. And wow, everything was fantastic. The goulash and the spätzle were both some of the best I've tried. The goulash melts in your mouth and the spätzle is perfectly cooked and prepared with such great pairings (even the gorgonzola, which I don't normally like a lot of!). It's a little pricier than a standard traditional German spot off the beaten path, but it's definitely worth it for the quality of the food. We were thoroughly impressed with the whole experience. I wish it were a little closer to home because I want to come back here and try everything...

The excitement for food builds up quickly when you are entering a place that just transfers the right vibe… 😁 The place is just really welcoming and we almost felt home really quick. 🍻 But that was also because of the absolutely lovely service we received. 🙏🏼 Another reason why I am all positive in this story is because I was craving blood sausage and, therefore, went for “Heaven & Earth” - traditional German dish that might cause disgust on many tourist faces, especially as one of the dish’s “nicknames” is “Tote Oma” (= Dead Grandma). It was SO delicious that I was an absolute happy man by the end of the meal! 👌🏼😁 It sometimes amazes how happy I can get when enjoying good food with fun and nice people … & @sbstn.vgl . 😜😅 The Spätzle have been a real attraction as well by the way. 🤤 This place will definitely end up on my favorites list on my...

Went there with a group of 10 for a birthday. The atmosphere was good and the service was fast and attentive and just in general super sweet. I got the mushroom soup and unfortunately hated it 😒. Other people had the same and said they thought it was ok but nothing special or really delicious. What rubbed me the wrong way was the presentation. It did not look appealing at all unfortunately. Way too dark and it was watered down. I got to taste some of the spinach knödel and they were a bit too greasy but very delicious. The home made bread was good. Interesting restaurant with typical German cuisine, might be good for tourists but for me personally unfortunately a bit more of a miss.
