My visit to Taverna Restaurant Mastiha in Berlin was an absolute delight. From the moment we walked in, the warm and genuine welcome from the Greek staff made us feel right at home. Having lived in Thessaloniki before, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the service here felt just as warm and friendly as it did in Greece.

Let's talk about the food, which was nothing short of amazing. To start, we indulged in a selection of appetizers, including succulent anchovies, perfectly grilled feta, and delicious spanakopita, all served with a delightful assortment of salads. If you're a fan of grilled feta, it's a must-try during your aperitivo.

For our main course, we decided on the big Thessaloniki platter, and it was a feast for the senses. The meat was cooked to perfection, and for two people, it was more than enough to leave us feeling utterly satisfied and content. The best part? The food wasn't heavy at all, and it paired beautifully with a crisp white wine, ouzo, and mastiha.

We're already looking forward to our next visit with friends. Sharing the appetizers and exploring more dishes together sounds like a perfect plan. This is definitely the right place for you if you like Greek cuisine. The food is delicious and the meat quality is great. I like the interior, and sitting outdoors in summer is nice.

First of all, they got Mythos beer. It’s a Hellenic beer and it’s not as heavyweight as German beer. The right choice for summer evenings.

The restaurant is quite big, so you’re likely to get a table. However, the best tables are more difficult to get because people really love this place, and they come here frequently.

Why do they come? Well, the food is always delicious. I’ve really never been disappointed. Not just that, the dishes are well-made, the portions are generous, and the quality is great.

Also the service is quick to notice new customers, and you’ll never really run dry on beverages, unless you want to.
