Restaurant CAY TRE QUAN — Restaurant in Berlin

The food is very good. Surprisingly (for me) I came three nights in a row. And it did not dissapointed. Everything I ate was so good. Nothing over complicated, but simple and so tasteful. And the prices are decent. Main dish + glass of wine (very good) + tea ~= 20 EUR. The personeel are very firendly and talkative (if you are). Suprisingly, the atmosphere is very nice. Usually, in thia kind of restaurant is auster and cold. Not here! The place is really warm, people are laughing or just chillin, personeel like what they are doing (and sometimes they just... dance:)).

Anyway, I just love the place. When I come again in Berlin I will make sure I come here again.

I was looking for a place to eat near Potsdamer Straße and stumbled upon this one. I decided to give it a chance and was immediately welcomed by a waiter who took me to my table and seated me.

He was very nice and friendly; I appreciated his way of interacting with customers and with me. Once I told him that I don’t speak German, he spoke in English, with an accent, but really very fluently.

As a manager, I have a more discerning eye for certain details. Besides the initial lack of cutlery and having to call for napkins, I can say that the food was really above average for Berlin and the cost was very economical. Excellent service, and the food makes up for the little things!

10-21-24 A nice restaurant! I didn’t like much the chicken curry, needs some flavor…i would say it was an ok dish. 10-23-24 a second try in the restaurant. It’s a small restaurant, but have a good ambience. I think this is a family run place. I ordered grilled chicken served with rice, salad and coconut sauce. It’s very good, chicken was tender and juicy, salad was perfect very refreshing, coconut milk sauce was excellent with the rice. It was a good experience. This place is busy place especially during my first visit, it was lunch time around 1:30 and it was packed...
