A very welcoming gay bar by the host and staff. You're greeted at the door, escorted to a table or seat and given a drink menu. Service is prompt and prices are reasonable.
On my visit, Friday night, it was play the junkbox night. Guests were invited to make their selections of music. This could be good or bad, depending on your liking of music.
I know many bars are now sit down and be served type bars, but I found it more difficult to meet people when they are sitting at a table with friends. I much prefer sitting and having conversations at the bar or mingling throughout a sitting crowd. That's my issue, so don't let that discourage you from visiting.
This bar is very clean you know that the staff really work hard in trying to make you feel welcomed and comfortable.
Lastly, if there could be an improvement, it's the sound system. The speakers were covered with Christmas decorations, but I doubt they had much of an impact on the sound. I'm not sure of the brand speakers they had but it wasn't sending out the right "waves", as it was very tin can and no bass. Like a 50's car radio. So I hope the management will look into upgrading the sound system and maybe get a sound expert to advise them of what works well in the space. Sorry, but...

When I visited, there was only one bartender who was so fascinated with the person he was talking to that he did not bring my friends and I drinks for 40 minutes. We tried to order at the bar directly, to which he prompted us to sit down on the couches and said he will come to us. Spending your job flirting away with patrons is fun, until it takes 40 minutes to make and deliver two drinks when the bar had only three tables with people seated at them. The cocktails are expensive, which I am glad to pay if my environment and service matches the price; unfortunately, it did not. Moreover, the same bartender who spent the entire night infatuated with one person to where he couldnât do his job, told us that I canât lay my head on my friends lap because laying down is not aloud. It gave me a good laugh how he was no where to be seen when service was needed, but the second I rested my head on my friends lap, at last! There he was! This experience solidified that I wonât be coming back. Tourists, enjoy this place! Locals, go anywhere else babes. Youâll get better service, hospitality, and attitude at any queer...
