Stumbling upon Seoul Garden was fate. The service provided was nothing short of exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. Despite the menu's modest size, the dishes offered were absolute gems that truly represented the essence of Korean cuisine.

Although our initial intention was to indulge in the famed Korean BBQ, we learned that this treat was exclusively available after 4 pm. Undeterred, we ventured into other offerings and ordered the kimchi, bulgogi, and more. The explosion of flavors in each bite was truly remarkable and left me in awe.

To further enhance our meal, we opted for some reasonably priced and high-quality soju, which was a delightful addition to the experience. Imagine our pleasant surprise when the restaurant graciously served us complimentary kimchi, a testament to their commitment to authenticity and tradition.

Given Seoul Garden's reputation and the delectable fare it offers, it's no surprise that it's often bustling with diners. I would highly recommend making a reservation to secure a spot. My experience here was one to cherish, and I can't wait to return, perhaps in the evening, to indulge in their...

Well, I remember the day I went there as a day-staff in their kitchen few months ago. And I wasn't happy at all with the owners' attitude.

Their kitchen and utensils were being managed bit unhygienically, I'd say. And the owner treated me very arrogant and inappropriate without basic manners or respects. I was even wondering HOW those other staffs are dedicating under this environment. - have heard from ex-workers that I wasn't the only one who have experienced poorly, too. On THAT day, both owners blamed me for a mistake, which they've made themselves due to lack of communications between them, lol

I'm curious if their ways treating staffs have been changed, but I won't be surprised either if they aren't.

They definitely lost a potential customer, absolutely.

Seems they never take care of their impressions towards Korean community where they're always looking for new staffs, pretty...

Shame on you Seoul Garden.

We called to book a table for 5 people at this place on 19th of July, 2024. We reserved our place for 19.00 and arrived at 19.20. We have seen our name on the table we booked and sat to wait for service. The waitress came and first acknowledged. Then she came again to tell us that we have to get up and wait despite the reservation because we are late (No letting us know that we should call even if we are late for 20 mins, no calling us to check why we are late). We explained to her that this is unacceptable and rude to get someone leave the table and wait. We sat there for 20-25 mins and they never attended us. We then checked and they said they won’t serve. I have never seen such ridicilous and rude behavior in my life anywhere. Not sure about the food because we did not deserve to taste :) Definitely not coming back and will actively...

We visited this place as a group of four on o Sunday evening for dinner. We had no reservation as this place was taking no reservations in advance so it was just walk in. We ordered Korean style BBQ (Sodeungsim Gui and Dak-galbi Gui) and a Kimchi Jigae to share. Everything was super delicious and we incredibly enjoyed our meals. My only complaint is that the rice coming on the side with BBQ was too little to share for 2 people (i myself ended up eating 2.5 of them) The drinks we got (soju and beer) were okay (i am not a big beer person). We mixed the soju and beer to make “Somaek” , a traditional way to drink these two, but I liked soju better on its own. The seating area we were seated was just across the open door and i must say i felt cold (despite the bbq set on table) so only 3 stars for the atmosphere.

Super authentic Korean - just by entering the place, the wonderful scents make you feel like being teleported to Korea. The dishes come in beautiful brass bowls and all come with the typical assortment of home-made sides. The Bibimbap is spectacular, with all types of pickled and steamed veggies plus homemade hot sauce - just ambling from one flavour to the next can turn a miserable day into a happy one. Very generous portions, very fresh; nice and simple Berlin style interior, with good seating. Very friendly staff, they know what they are doing, and they do it well. Every time I go, at least one table is occupied by happy Korean speakers. The Bibimbap costs a little more than next door, but what you get is incomparably better. Great value for money. Highly recommended. A lot of great vegan options, too.
