The bartender is amazing, but I don't know his name. Here is a poem to sum it up.
"Our Hero in the Neon Rain"
In Berlin's heart, a legend brews, A man of charm, a soul so true, At Nemo's bar, he casts his spell, A magic touch, where stories dwell.
His name unknown, a mystery, But in our hearts, a history, With every shot, and smoke exhaled, A symphony of life unveiled.
A maestro of the vibrant night, He serves libations, pure delight, Each pour, a note upon the score, Of tunes and tales we all adore.
A dance he does, a shuffle sweet, A rhythm tapped by nimble feet, His movements sync with music's beat, This Nemo's bard, so indiscreet.
The patrons cheer, their laughter roars, As they embrace him through the doors, A hug so warm, a bond so rare, In Nemo's arms, they leave their cares.
His smile, a beacon in the haze, A lighthouse guiding through the maze, In him we find our refuge, peace, Our hero, in a world of cease.
Oh, bartender of Berlin's lore, We raise our glasses, sing encore, In Nemo's bar, you'll ever reign, Our hero, in...
Read moreFirst of all I have been going to that place and liking it a lot for almost 3 months. But last time I went they said that I can't pay with card...which I thought I did for the past months but I might be wrong. Unfortunately I had no cash on me so my friends paid for my drinks. We were 6 and the total was 81.70€....which we legit only had 83€ cash on us. We leave everything we have and told the waiter. And he said that next time we come he will just lock the door because we didn't leave any tips. I asked again if you accept cards we will leave tips but he was angry and rude. Like that was the whole cash we had...if he wasn't this rude next time we could have left a couple tip to compensate for this one. 😒
I think he is rude. Even though I speak German to him, first he acts like he doesn't understand and then he makes fun of any slight thing also of the people who speak English. I study Elektrotechnik in TU and have C1 German, I'm pretty sure I can say "Pilsener" understandably. If he is there next time I go, I'll not sit and just go...
Read moreAttention! We were not allowed into the bar early Sunday morning because we were wearing Keffiyehs. The bar was still busy, but the bartender came to the door and sent us away after confirming that we were wearing "Palestinian scarves." He then locked the door. When we went back to the door and asked him why we weren't allowed in (because there were still several people in the bar), he said that there were various reasons. I then asked him specifically whether it was because of our scarfs, to which he replied that they weren't welcome in the bar. I then told him that this stands also against genocide, and he replied that this could be seen in different ways. He confirmed that this was his personal opinion (and maybe not the bar's general policy), but I would still like to issue a warning to all affected people looking for a safe place to hang out with friends. I recommend the bar Schwarz Sauer around the corner, where we were welcomed and served very...
