BENSIMON apartments Choriner Straße — Hotel in Berlin

We stayed here during our 6 day trip to Berlin. Everything was more than good and that made our Berlin experience very comfortable. It almost felt like home to be honoust. The appartment (number 6) is great for two, and probably three, with a comfy bed (could be a bit bigger though), a fully equipped kitchen (including oil & vinegar, dish washer tablets and coffee/tea), a lovely bath and shower. There is a chromecast in the tv and the WiFi is spotless. The team was very welcoming and pro-active. We asked for extra towels and toilet paper per e-mail, and received it straight away. Really amazing. The building is partly privately owned, and that requires tourists to keep noise to a minimum, which has been our experience (and happy for it). The neighbourhood (just a few hundred meters from the Kulturbrauerei) is very cosy with lots of breakfast/lunch venues and restaurants. Public transport is very available with main lines M10 to and from the Hauptbahnhof and the U2 connecting you to the Centre of the city. This is a wonderful apartment! It's clean, bright, spacious, and uncluttered. The bed was comfortable and the wifi was fast. The balcony was even bigger than what I saw in the photos - it extends from the kitchen to the bedroom, and you can access it from either/ both of those rooms. The apartment is quiet and private - it faces the inner courtyard, not the street, and the way it's oriented, other people can't see into the apartment easily. The hallway was also more spacious than I expected - there was space for suitcases there. Having the washing machine was very helpful. Getting into the apartment was super easy. Plus, there's an elevator! It's in a fun neighborhood - plenty of restaurants and a grocery store are nearby, and it's near a variety of tram or subway stops. It was easy to use public transportation to go anywhere in Berlin. The hosts were outstanding -they were very responsive and proactive and professional. I accidentally left something behind, and they offered to mail it back to me at their expense! The hosts went above and beyond what they needed to do. Overall a fantastic stay- I would stay there again...

Highly recommend! Great location to explore the lovely Prenzlauer Berg and all it has to offer - walking distance from great cafés, restaurants, Mayerpark, Christmas markets, etc. Also great for exploring greater Berlin - a short walk from the U- bahn. The apartment has all you would need for your stay - comfy bed, good shower, kitchenette and breakfast bar, TV, couch bed, safe, etc. Handy being able to leave luggage in luggage room before and after checkout. If you were staying long term, there wasn't a whole lot of clothes storage in the room we stayed in but probably is in some of the bigger rooms. We'd definitely consider staying here again if we return to...
