Stopped by here for dinner today randomly. I didn’t necessarily have the best experience. The food, what I ordered at least, was OK. It wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t horrible. Towards the end, it came time to pay. I grabbed my phone to pull up my mobile card. I had the physical card on me, but it was just easier to pull out my phone. The waiter then tells me cash or EZ pay (German credit card only). I was so confused and asked him “no Visa?”. He stood there and said no. I am visiting from out of town. I was unaware that they did not accept Visa. Immediately I’m panicking and wondering, what am I going to do because I did not have any cash on me. I’m not sure why there isn’t any sign or warning to customers before they eat that they only accept certain types of payment. I told him that I only had my card which is Visa. I’m not sure if he thought I was lying, but I really had no other form of payment on me. He magically brings the credit card machine, and I paid with my Visa card like I had planned to do to begin with. So if that form of payment is accepted, why say that you don’t accept it? So to me, it seems like they do accept it, but they prefer other methods of payment. I literally started panicking, wondering what I was going to do. I was so embarrassed. Those moments of discomfort for me just to in the end except visa. If you all have preference for cash or German credit card only, fine, but make that clear before orders are placed. If I knew beforehand, I would’ve had no issue stopping by an ATM to withdraw euros. I later looked at the restaurant details online and it says NFC mobile payments accepted. I didn’t see anything about not accepting Visa credit cards. I wouldn’t...

Read moreThe food is fine (we tried different sushi, gyodon and unagi don). Nothing out of the ordinary, but fine. Adequate. And the prices are roughly average. The serving of the gyudon was also a bit uninspired and it resembled more a poke bowl than a usual serving of the dish.
The staff was generally friendly, albeit it could take some time to get their attention. The bigger issue was the ordering. You should double check you made the correct order, before it arrives and after. For example, I ordered a Mai Tai and the cocktail was so nice (not amazing, but good) that it was not until I arrived home that I realized they hadnt made me a Mai Tai at all, but instead one of their own cocktail recipes (it had none of the ingredients that go with a Mai Tai) BUT they charged me for the Mai Tai, which was the most expensive cocktail on the menu together with the Long Island Iced Tea. I had not planned on leaving a review before I made this realization.
So, if you go here, please make sure you get the right order. And don’t expect a ground-breaking experience, but...
