The Burrito Window — Restaurant in Berlin

I never write reviews but this place deserves it. The guy is a complete a$$. I ordered a quesadilla. He told me 10 minutes. I waited outside and came back in and asked me what I ordered again. He completely forgot.

Then I decided I was going to get a beer while I wait. I asked the price for an Augustiner and it was too much. That’s not a problem. I just said no thanks. The guy freaked out and asked why I wouldn’t buy it. I said it was too much for me. He then said I was too old to think like a kid. Insulted me while he was making my quesadilla. I let it go for a second but he didn’t. Kept on insulting me and laughing at me. I just said screw it and took off. Horrible dude with a bad attitude. Hopefully it was just that kinda day for him rather than how he is. I wasn’t expecting much bc I’m from San Diego and I know European Mexican doesn’t hit. UPDATE (Dec 4th, 2019): We tried the burrito again and was a bit disappointed. The bottom line is: The flavor of your burrito will heavily depend on WHO MAKES IT. All the ingredients are there but the flavor was really off this time. Consistency is key for a successful restaurant. I hope they pay attention to that.

Previous Review (We gave 5 star here, a month ago) My partner and I were BLOWN 🤯AWAY by the spicy chicken burrito! We added guacamole as well, which was a great addition. I am not sure why this place received some negative reviews about the sizing or taste, because we are from the west coast of the US, where Mexican cuisine is pretty amazing, and to be honest we found this place to be FANTASTIC! 😍Glad we discovered the Burrito Window and decided to give it a shot. I am honestly so disappointed. I ordered two burritos and nachos for delivery. The ONLY thing that was different when I added the same super soy burrito a second time was that it included guacamole. I ordered both of these burritos from the same menu page.

I got a burrito and a salad.

I called to ask why, and I was blamed (it was apparently my fault), laughed at, and hung up on.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. the food we were delivered was not just wrong, but horrible. The salad was sad and tasteless. I couldn’t even pawn it off on my coworkers. When they mess up your delivery you’ll only be hung up on and ignored.

also, the nachos and guac were NEVER going to be worth 5€. I expected home made, delicious nachos at this cost. What I got was grade...
