Vapiano — Restaurant in Berlin

Hi everyone Hope are well

I just try food in this vapiano and i explain my experience about it As what i find out each vapiano even they have same name but they have different concept inside restaurant 1- when inter restaurant u will have 3 option A- order direct on cashier table next to door B- there is Maschine to order on that C- u can also order food with your mobile phone

So as i inter restaurant the cashier explain about 3 option to order food and about “C way“ i asked them if they took my order personal on my table they answer “yes “ So i go on table and wait almost 30 minutes but i no one come to take my order till i asked a waiter some one look work longer than cashier there he said no they have that 3 option So i order my food on cashier After that i wait almost 40 minutes to take my food

About food i give just 2 stars ⭐️ I ordered cream di fungi with rind filet and as very knows they must cook first rind filet than put them on small plate than start to cook food in last step when they must to add meat inside food that will be some nice and tasty meat inside food But as what i catch meat was too much hart why was that must to asked them self But for sure they cook that meat more than enough cooking time About salad, i oder salad with garnele 🦐 So as what i said my order took almost 40 minutes and in that time they cook my sald very fast with garnele 🦐 and put my salad on station where they collect food there But cuz too much time the garnele of my salad was cold and doesn’t tast well too

About cleaning They table was not much clean Too much old oil on table and that was not clean for long time maybe just front part of table but not all part of table

Probably the least favourite vapiano I have ever been to. We weren't familiar with the ordering process and waited at the till with 2 strangers to grab our Vapiano card how it used to work. Noone came and a waiter walking around cleaning plates passed us multiple times during the 10 minutes trying to ignore us as hard as he could. When I asked the guy with his son in front of us he shrugged and said he was waiting to collect a card to. After 10 minutes of being ignored we became impatient and went to the self-order machine which has a franchise burger chain feel to it. When we went to pick up the food I asked for the bread and if they don't serve it anymore and was barked at by the female chef that she can't know we want it if we don't order it. I explained we didn't know it had to be ordered and when she saw I wasn't amazed with her snappy attitude she tried to correct it and offered bread and said the drinks we had to grab from them bar. Went to the bar and waited another 10 minutes because the guy there was obviously new and super confused and overwhelmed with a queue of 4 people. He was nice though and smiled when he couldn't even find our order but gave me the drinks ordered regardless. The pasta was mashed on the plate without care and only had 4 prawns in it... The prosciutto on my partner's pizza was dry as the desert because it got shoved into the oven instead of being served fresh on top. Not to mention the 6 bits of thin mushrooms. Food was cold by the time we got the drinks. Overall a bad experience and I wouldn't come back. I have dined at many Vapiano restaurants across Europe and have always been impressed by the consistent quality and value. Unfortunately, my recent visit to the Vapiano in Berlin was, without comparison, the worst experience I’ve had with the chain. We ordered two kids' pizzas, which are usually generous in size, nicely made, and of good quality. However, this time my children were incredibly disappointed. The pizzas were no larger than the size of my hand, thick, and so overbaked they resembled crackers. This was a huge letdown, especially considering the much better standard we’ve come to expect from Vapiano locations in cities like Prague and Gothenburg — and to make matters worse, this Berlin location charges nearly double the price. The meals my wife and I ordered were equally underwhelming — bland, lacking in flavor, and just uninspired overall. On top of that, we had to wait 45 minutes for our food to arrive. By the time we were served, our children had already finished eating long ago. To top it all off, the restaurant automatically added a tip through their QR code ordering system, which felt greedy and presumptuous. It was frustratingly difficult to remove this added charge, which should always be a personal choice.

All in all, this experience was far from what we expect from Vapiano. The quality, value, and service were all well below par. I hope this location seriously reconsiders how they operate, as it damages the otherwise good reputation of the...
