I’ve been to this place four times and my first impressions were confirmed every time: very unfriendly staff (except for one time) that seems upset when I ordered even though nobody else was standing in line. Like, I wanted to buy more than two items but they were annoyed at me ordering the buns first and the sweet pastries altogether secondly. In the city of run-of-the-mill chocolate croissants (or pain au chocolat for the purists) this place definitely stands out. I first met their chocolate croissant through House of Music cafe and it was love at first sight. Now I take a trek to Friedrichshain to get my chocolate croissant fix as often as time allows. I´m not familiar with their other products, but their chocolate croissant kicks ass. It costs 3.20 but I doubt you´ll get more (in every sense) for your money...

Small bakery with great sweet and savory pastries and small seating area inside. The coffee is wonderful, seems like they use high quality beans and very skilled in brewing.
