So happy they opened a second location!
The service was a little chaotic. 3 waiters approached me within the first few minutes of sitting down and asked if I wanted to order. I told the first two that I was waiting for a couple of friends and when I got asked a third time, I just ordered a coke - which never arrived. We had a little trouble getting the attention of the waiters when we wanted to order and also pay later on. I eventually got up and asked one of the waiters to bring the bill for us. After 15mins I asked again and after another 10mins again until we were finally able to pay. We felt a little bad because there were all these people waiting outside to be seated, so we didn’t want to occupy the table for too long. All in all, everyone was really nice and polite but just not very attentive and it seemed like no one felt really responsible for our table. Guess that could be organized better.
Despite that, there is not a single bad word to be said about the food. It’s top notch, I would love to eat this every day, can’t get enough! The new vegan option of the biang biang noodles with eggplant is amazing. And I will definitely come again despite the...
Read moreTried this with my girlfriend and let me tell u.. we knew usually there is a big line so once we saw there are no people outside waiting we decided to enter.
Food is pricy compared to other Asian places around the area. There are basically two dishes with different options such as beef, lamb and soy minced and eggplant. And a few starters.. starters are around 6 euro main dish from 13-14 eu.
We ordered the two different options one with more spicy/oily and the other one with less. Mine was with beef and she had the eggplant/soy minced where there was almost no soy “meat”. (Kind of rip-off)
Handnoodles were quite tasty, sauce and meat was cooked good. But apart from that thats pretty much it.. i wish there was a little bit more diversity in the dish.. maybe some extra vegetables just for variety. It got quickly boring.
After the food we both had weird feeling in our stomachs and this morning we both had problems.
Considering the hype around this place and the higher price it just doesnt feel like 5 stars to me. There are many small family owned places around the area that are worth checking out. Would not visit again! Staff...
Read moreIt always smells delicious when I pass by so we decided to try the restaurant. Didn’t wait more than 2-3 minutes on a Saturday to get a place. Stools and benches quite basic, not too comfortable to sit on but we came for the food anyway which was the disappointing part. First, I’d like to note that the waitstaff was quite quick and friendly even if hurried, the place was full. The spices used for the noodles make for a great taste, and the hotness of the meals is marked accurately on the menu - do pay attention because if you’re not into spicy hot, do not order any dish with pepper(s) next to it! I personally like spicy and enjoyed it. Noodles are thick handmade and are filling. The real problem we had was with how very greasy the dishes were - at least a centimeter of oil film was covering the sauce - my stomach got queasy and full after only half the portion, and I found it a bit too salty as well. We couldn’t finish the meal. The atmosphere inside was also very loud/noisy and the lighting too dim and uninviting, so if it’s warm you better sit outside. We ordered one beef and one vegetarian aubergine Wen...
