Marrakesch Lounge & Bar nähe Alexanderplatz — Restaurant in Berlin

Great shisha bar in the centre of Berlin, about 15 min. on foot from the Alexanderplatz (also plenty of public transport stops in the area). Stepping into the bar the first thing one notices (apart from the authentic music) is the sweet aroma of shisha. The menu contains about 10 different shisha flavours ranging from simple ones, such as grapefruit, to more complex ones mixed from 3-4 different flavours. The shisha we tried (grapefruit) was excellent, and it lasted for a good two hours before the tobacco got burnt. The menu also comes with an exhausting list of coctail, teas, and long drinks. I would recommend the Keeper's dream, a fruity vodka-based coctail that was surprisingly strong. The prices are cheap, coctails were around 8-10 euros each, a large cup of tea was about 6 euros, a shisha costs 10-15 euros (and lasts for two hours). The only issue I have with this bar is that the waitress who served is didn't speak english or german. She definitely understood most of what I said, but she replied in turkish (?). This didn't ruin the experience, as she was very friendly and helpful, and we managed to overcome the language...

Kudos to whoever runs this place! Had an awesome night here. Definitely standing out from other standard sisha bars.

Plus: really great service. They also had a DJ when I was there, so lots of staff, very friendly and most of all, it seemed like everybody genuinely enjoyed their job. their menu reads as if they put a bit more thoughts into everything they offer, which makes it worth paying 2-3€ more on average. had a shisha, cocktails, tea and shots there. can recommend the gin basil, everything was great.

Minus: definitely a bit more pricy, but then again, worth the money if you‘re looking for slightly more than average stuff can‘t pay with card (hugh, Germany!)

Wir sind gerade hier und haben einen wundervollen Abend. Es war einfach nur fantastisch! Schon beim Eintreten hat man gemerkt, dass hier nicht einfach nur eine Shisha-Bar betrieben wird, sondern ein Ort geschaffen wurde, an dem man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen, gesehen und wertgeschätzt fühlt.

Der Chef selbst ist da – ein unglaublich freundlicher, zuvorkommender und herzlicher Mensch. Er hat sich persönlich darum gekümmert, dass es uns an nichts fehlt. Jeder Wunsch wurde mit einem Lächeln entgegengenommen – sei es bei der Auswahl der Shisha, dem Tabak oder kleinen Extrawünschen zwischendurch. Man hatte nie das Gefühl, zu viel zu fragen oder irgendwie zur Last zu fallen – im Gegenteil: Man spürt, dass hier echte Leidenschaft hinter dem steckt, was getan wird.

Die Atmosphäre war gemütlich, stilvoll und einladend – genau die richtige Mischung aus Entspannung und Lebendigkeit. Die Shishas waren geschmacklich auf den Punkt, die Auswahl riesig und die Qualität top! Alles war sauber, perfekt vorbereitet und liebevoll angerichtet. Auch das restliche Personal war super freundlich, aufmerksam und stets präsent, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken.

Besonders beeindruckt hat uns, wie viel Zeit sich genommen wurde, um sicherzustellen, dass wirklich alles passt. Das ist heute nicht selbstverständlich – und genau das macht den Unterschied.

Für uns war das definitiv nicht der letzte Besuch! Wer einen Ort sucht, an dem Gastfreundschaft gelebt wird, Qualität an erster Stelle steht und man sich einfach rundum wohlfühlt, ist hier goldrichtig.
