I love Beirut. One thing you can be sure of there. Felafel straight from the fryer, and fresh salads with buckets of taste...sumac and/or lemon. And the smiles from the pride of the family that welcomes you...wait...thats three things...oh, and fourth, great bread. None of those things are evident here. Even the garlic and chilli paste are insipid. And the team wishes you'd go somewhere else when you bring your plates back. No... thank you, and certainly no... How was it? Maybe they know how it was. Felafel were crisp enough, but lukewarm as if they sat around a solid 20 minutes. I remember when lebanese food in berlin was comparable to Beirut.

As an individual who grew up in Lebanon, I've been searching for a falafel place that serves them they way they are made back home for a while. This is the first such place that I find in Berlin. The taste is as authentic as it gets in 2 regards: the falafel itself and the sauce. The vegetables and and bread are a bit different, but still decent. The portion is generous especially for the price. The staff is curteous and nice. Highly recommended if you want to experience what real falafel tastes like.

Came for lunch during a very busy time. The staff is friendly. The inside is crowded and self service so tables etc were not the cleanest. I got the #19 shawarma plate. The chicken and fries were really good but the beef kabobs and hummus were average in taste. The size of the plate was big - I couldn't finish it! Overall, I think there's better shawarma/doner kabab places in Berlin.

Great vibes, fresh food, good prices.

Zaim Falafel is a lovely little spot with fresh ingredients and great quality across the board.

I had Plate Nº10, with falafel and halloumi, plus hummus and sides — genuinely one of the best falafel plates I’ve tried. The falafel was crispy on the outside, moist inside, and the halloumi brought a salty, satisfying touch. The hummus was smooth and flavourful, rounding everything out nicely.

The service is friendly and relaxed, run by the owners themselves. It’s not the usual stiff, formal vibe — better to go in with a good attitude and a smile 😊 One of the guys even speak a bit of Spanish, which was a nice surprise!

We asked for it without any spicy, and didn’t dare try the tiny chilli they offer on the side. The garlic sauce was very strong — not for my taste but good if you like intense flavours.

Great value for money, and a place I’d...
